Evelyn's POV:
God, I hate romantic happily ever afters.
Take Cinderella for example. She pisses me off. The happy-go-lucky, singing psycho gets married to Prince Charming after meeting him twice, and HOORAY! Fairytale ending. Sorry princess, but real life doesn't work that way. Even if you meet the man of your dreams and he doesn't turn out to be some douchebag loser, shit still happens. Like, what if Prince Charming gets hit by a bus or contracts some incurable disease? Where's your happily ever after then?
I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade of red roses and romance, but love isn't as easy as they make it seem in the movies. Love is a constant battle, and that's something I learned the hard way. So, if you're one of those girls who's addicted to sappy chick flicks with unrealistic endings, then here's my one and only warning for you: this story, my story, isn't about a couple who falls madly in love and runs off into the sunset together; it's about a boy and a girl who deal with love... take it or leave it.
