It'd been months now since Harry had last spoken to Draco.

He kept himself busy or more like the world gave him problems to deal with. The first problem was the new defense against the arts professor.

I guess Ron would describe her as a pain in the ass and everyone would agree. She was the biggest bitch you'd ever meet. She even tortured Harry for talking in her classroom. Well not torture exactly. She just made him use a pen that would carve through his skin. Actually that's pretty fucked up for a teacher.

She refused to teach anything magic related. So it made it hard for students to simply defend themselves.

Then there was Dumbledores army. He'd been stressed out a lot. They had to find a way to practice magic without Umbridge finding out. So they hid in the room of requirements and practiced there. So far they'd manage to make some amazing progress, some students even being able to cast a patronus charm. It was hard to keep it a secret and if anyone found out they'd be expelled.

But by the end of the day Harry ran out things to keep him feeling numb and he thought about Draco. Since he left Harry hadn't even smiled. It hurt him seeing him in class and remembering how he couldn't talk to him. He knew it wasn't as simple as not wanting to be friends. He bet his father had forbidden to talk to him since he hated him so much. It had to be more than that.

Even then he'd have these fantasies of Draco kissing him. Like there wasn't a problem in the world that couldn't be solved as long as they had each other.

It seemed stupid but Draco hadn't been the bratty asshole he'd met a few years back. When Harry thought about it he'd do anything to go back in time. Back to when Draco asked for his friendship, he would've of grabbed his hand and never let go.

Sadly reality hit him and he came back to that empty feeling.

Harry and Cho Chang were the last to leave the room of requirements. Harry was helping Cho with her patronus in order to improve it.

They walked out, checking that there wasn't anyone around. Once out in the hall they started to talk. Cho chuckled as Harry made a stupid joke about Hermione beating Ron's ass in the duel match.

At some point through the conversation they stopped talking. Cho looked at Harry with a smile on her face and for once in months Harry was able to smile back.

Not far from there Draco was making his way down the hall.

Cho then started to get closer. Her lips were so close to Harry's. She closed her eyes and leaned in for a kiss.

Harry stood motionless not knowing what to do.

Draco then stumbled upon this. He felt his heart beating fast. He could feel it beating in his throat. Suddenly there was a pain in his chest and it wouldn't stopped.

Before any of them spotted him, he walked away. His footsteps made a loud noise which made Harry turn away from Cho's kiss and look around the hall.

Nothing.

Then he turned back his attention to Cho.

"I'm sorry Cho. I can't. Not with everything that is going on."

"I understand Harry. Friends?"

"I'd love that."

Draco stayed awake in bed. His thoughts wouldn't let him sleep. His chest hurting with pain and jealousy.

He tried his best to calm down and when his attempt failed he went right back to the anger.

Draco's POV
He was bound to find someone else. I just never thought it'd be so quickly. Am I that easy to forget? What am I saying? We never were anything. For all I care he can kiss who ever the fuck he wants. Who am I kidding? It hurts. I had to rip him out my life, might as well of shot me in the head. I can't do this. I hate my life so damn much. I wouldn't think it'd be so hard to forget him.

Draco's thoughts were distracted by a click on his window. He looked out the window and saw his black owl standing with a letter in its beak.

He carefully opened the window making sure not to wake anyone and let his owl in. He took the note from him and read it in silent.

Malfoy,
The dark lord has chosen you for a mission. The death eaters are breaking into The Ministry of Magic to steal a prophecy needed. If all goes well you'll receive your dark mark soon. I need you to take this seriously. If anything goes wrong you'll have to kill any witnesses. No matter the cost, we must maintain The Dark Lords secret. No one can know he's back. So don't make me look like a fool!
