jae, that's even gayer.

three years have past ever since kang young-hyun ran away. of course, many were upset about the removal of him from DAY6, but we had no choice, did we now?

the last years had been depressing, over-whelming and over all... hurtful. especially to jae. younghyun was a best friend, enemy, lover and everything a person could ever need.

jae took a deep breath in, glancing at his clothes in the mirror. he observed himself, his eyes empty. but he had to put on a smile before the fan signing event took place, he had to.

he felt sungjin's hand resting on his shoulder in woe. dowoon and wonpil were also there, standing behind sungjin. jae could see them in the mirror, though.

"alright, huddle." sungjin said firmly, causing the boys to lazily form a circle.

"let's promise to stay strong. and do our best. and—"

"sungjin hyung, why do you always make us do this?" dowoon groaned, rolling his eyes. sungjin smacked his head lightly.

"because i said so," he said politely. "... as i was saying... and we will promise to?"

"stay as a team." the four said in unison, smiling at each other. their manager was calling them, it was finally time for the fan signing event. jae glanced at the crowd, which seemed to grow smaller and smaller after younghyun left the group.

jae let a sigh escape his lips, glancing at all his members whom had a smile on their faces and were waving at the crowd. they all took their seats, and jae decided to smile with them as flashes could be seen here and there.

lines were beginning to form, and jae was ready to sign as many posters as he needed to.

"oppa, please draw a heart!"

"oh wow, you look even better close up!"

"dowoonie is so precious!!"

"i kinda miss brian. he was such a mood maker, damn."

jae could feel himself stiffen up at the one comment that stood out to him. he took another deep breath in, his shaking hand signing the fans paper.

"thank you!" she screamed, moving over.

posters, after posters, a few gifts here or there, it was all fun meeting the new fans of different races, but the only person that has been on his mind for last 3 years was still on it.

day6, a successful group. two members left, the rest are probably depressed as fuck.

day6, a rock band that's slowly loosing fans day by day.

day6, an emotionally unstable band that's slowly starting to make more and more emo songs.

day6...-

a poster was placed in front of him.

"jae? are you okay?" the fan questioned. jae looked up with a small smile, that quickly turned to shock.

"i'm fi— YOUNGHYUN?!" jae screamer, covering his mouth and falling back in his chair. the area almost felt silent, the members glancing at the two. the fan scrunched their eyebrows.

"...jae? are you, like, okay? that's a girl." sungjin, who was next to him said.

jae's eyes widened, looking at the girl, who wa wearing a skirt and a buttoned up shirt. her face looked very familiar to younghyun's, but not all the way.

"of course he had to bring up brian."

"ugh, the entire mood is ruined."

"did he have to?"

jae felt his cheeks grow red as he slowly signed the paper. with a shaking hand, he handed the paper to the girl.

she smirked slyly.

"thanks, jae." she mumbled his name, moving on to the next person. jae was still sitting in shock. the next fan came, placing her post cards down, but jae was lost in his thoughts. he knew that she was a girl but...

why did he get this strange, familiar aura from her?

"so they said."
