Take Over

I speak of pain as though it's my new love.
Blinded by society,
I'm stuck with this reckless idea of happiness
In the midst of my anxiety.
Two shots to the temple,
I'm down on my knees
My life begins to crumble.
She says hello with a smile on her face
Glowing attitude,
One which I can't replace,
As for my crippled body
It easily gets rearranged
As I lose consciousness in your eyes
And let whichever state of my mind
Take over.
