That summer you changed me
You made me a version of you
A version of you that I loved
Your vocabulary slowly slipped into mine
and its still implanted in my words
Your still left in my curves
I let you in that summer
I gave you everything I even when I had nothing left
We were tied like a bow
We ruled the world
And that's how I ever expected it to go
Sometimes I miss you
Sometimes I wish I would have kept you
But sometimes, it's just better to forget you
