This is a little short story I whipped up as a Christmas gift for all you crazy bookworms.
(And yes, it is a few days late, and I very humbly apologize. I had to deal with family, and then work, and then family and work. You've all been there.)
This takes place December 24, 2009. So between the end of The Messenger and the beginning of Trouble School. I admit: short stories aren't my forte. I've written some, sure. But those are almost too short to be even short stories. I don't know, maybe they're like... anecdotes? Anyway, here's an actual short story from my Unofficial Case Files! I hope you like it!
