the sense of mystery he gave off when you first laid eyes on him
your constant dream that he would sweep you off your feet
droplets of rain hammering at your window as you stared wistfully at loving couples along the sidewalk sharing umbrellas when he still had not asked you out on a date
the longing in your chest as you looked at him, the unattainable boy only real in dreams
the dizziness you first felt when he made the first move to talk to you
the enchantment he casted on you when he said he'd like to get to know you more
the excitement bubbling within you when he finally asked you out on a date
the light hue of the sky seemingly merging with the darker tint of the hypnotising sea
the calm and soothing waves that lull you to sleep
the hesitant intake of breath when you gently laid your head on his shoulder
his breath-taking eyes gazing at you adoringly as you tilted your head up to stare into his
the thrill of adventure coursing through your veins as he took you on midnight adventures
you feeling more alive than ever as you two embarked on twilight escapades
the youthfulness you felt as you were caught up in your blissful bubble
the matching dress and tie (which he chose to bring out his eyes) when he took you to prom
the sense of peacefulness when he laid by your side, arms wound round your waist
the countless reassurances when he whispered "i love yous"
most of all, the wonderful memories that you can't wash away with your tears even though his face now is nothing but a blur
