"I want to fly....I want to fly" said Yumpy.
"But you are a kangaroo Yumpy and kangaroos cannot fly. They don't have wings" said Yumpy's mother.
"But mumma, when I see my friends flying, I too want to fly" Yumpy said in a sad voice.
"Oh baby! your friends who are flying are parrot or crow or pigeon. They are birds and have wings. We kangaroos cannot fly" said the mother.
Yumpy was very sad.
Seeing her baby sad, the mother kangaroo thought of an idea.... she went to the market and bought kite for her baby.
The next evening, mother kangaroo put her baby in her pouch and went to the big ground and started flying the kite.
"See baby, we cannot fly but we can make a kite fly up in the air" said the mother kangaroo.
"Yes mumma! Its wonderful..I love the kite" said Yumpy with a big grin on his face.
