Yves: (2 weeks later)
Haseul screaming wakes my whole house up. My mom runs out to her, nearly crashing into me as I also run to my sister. We open her door expecting to see her being murdered, to seeing her holding her phone, happy screaming.
"What the hell are you screaming at?!" My mother, who's black hair is in a messy, tangled bun, her purple silk pajamas are crumpled, no makeup, and her glasses are crooked on her face.
"Yeojin and Sehun broke up!" Her phone shouts.
Mom looks like life just lost meaning.
I glance over to see Baekhyun's image looking very pleased on the phone.
"How is that a good thing?" Mom huffs.
"Love triangle." I respond.
She just rolls her eyes and leaves to shower.
"Don't go for it right away, Haseul. She'll be hurt."
"She's planned it out!" Baekhyun shouts, exposing her.
"Sssh!" She hisses.
I glare. "Don't hurt her more." I suggest, walking out to my ringing phone.
I pick up. "Hi?"
"Yves!" She shouts.
Why is everyone shouting? I think to myself.
"Hey Chuu, what's up?"
"Did you hear?"
"The only thing I've heard today is Haseul and Baekhyun screaming."
She pauses. I start getting dressed after putting her on speakerphone.
"Well than- Anyway, school is cancelled all of next week because they need to fix things!" She giggles.
That giggle.
I know what she means immediately.
"I'll call my grandmother and see, okay?"
"Yay!" I can hear her giggling and clapping.
I didn't know she wanted to pick some fruit so badly.
"Vivi!" Someone in the background shouts.
"Are they really going to shout?" She sighs. "I need to go Yves. Bye bye."
"See ya!" She hangs up, and I touch up my makeup.
Wait-
Today's Friday.
