Hidden From Existence

Introduction

Hello! My name is Sylvia Moon and I live with my sister, Lily Moon, and my brother, Jake Moon. Before I get to the main part, let me tell you all about myself. Can you keep a secret? I hope so. Here goes. Me and Emily are werewolves, Yup, real-life werewolves. No, not the ones that look hideous and walk on two legs! The ones in Twilight that morph into huge wolves. Phew, that's a relief. (We still have clothes when we turn back into human.) Jake is just a.. I really don't know?

We were raised by our Mom named Megan Moon and Dad named Jacob Moon. Mom and Dad are also werewolves of the highest ranking. They had elemental powers and psychic and etc. They didn't know why Jake was just normal, but he didn't mind.

Now, let me stop rambling on and on and get to the chase.

Flashback 2011....

It was a beautiful autumn day, the huge oak trees bearing colorful leaves of red, yellow, and orange. Leaves littered our small home in the forest. Me and Emily were training in agility and strength. I was only 10 years old, while Lily was 9. While Jake was only 8. We were pretty smart for our age and our hunting skills and fighting skills were outrageous! Me and Emily were doing some practice leaps in our wolf form, but Dad had stopped and sniffed the air.

"What's wrong, Dad?" I barked at him. He was a brown wolf with a black paw that shimmers with his powers and emerald eyes. Me and Emily didn't have powers yet, but Dad said they would appear on the right time. His eyes grew to slits and before questioning further, vampires appeared out of the trees.

"Protect Lily and Jake!" He shouted. I ran over to Lily who was frozen in her tracks. I growled, "Lily find Jake!" She snapped out from her trance and rushed inside the house to protect Jake.

Mom had joined Dad in fighting off the vampires using their powers and werewolf strength. Currently, my family is the last known werewolves and rarest. The vampires wanted our blood to grow strong and rule Earth. Their leader, Adam, was leading his group. "Sylvia, go protect your siblings!" Jacob ordered. I obeyed and ran inside the house, still in wolf form.

I saw Lily curled up next to Jake, protecting him. Lily was a silver wolf with brown tips. She had piercing golden eyes with traces of orange. I was also a silver wolf, but with black splotches. I had electric blue eyes with traces of purple. Suddenly, I sniffed the presence of a vampire. I turned around and pounced on it, pinning it to the ground.

I swiftly snapped its neck and threw the body away. Lily and Jake were okay. Phew. I used my superior hearing and listened outside. I could still hear the fighting, but suddenly stopped.

Curious, I stepped out and saw all the vampires were laying on the ground dead. Adam, their leader, was burning in flames with his neck snapped. But the sight of him didn't make me freeze, right then and there were my parents laying lifelessly with knives stabbed into their hearts.

Tears were lining my eyelids as I howled for their death. Lily and Jake must've heard and stepped out of the house, rushing over to me. Lily froze and started howling with me, as Jake was loudly sobbing, clinging to Lily's shoulder. Just then, I felt sparks through my veins and I had stopped howling. I turned to see Lily stop also. We were both sparkling and we had been engulfed in light.

"Where are we?" I asked my sister. I glanced around to find a figure. She was a pretty lady with a white dress.

"Oh my! You're the moon goddess!" I squealed. She laughed and said, " Why yes, I am. I am here to give you your powers!."

"Yay!" Me and Emily cheered.

The moon goddess lifted her hand and I felt sparks enter my veins and me and Emily were shimmering.

"Remember use your powers wisely. You both have the power of healing, all the elemental powers, and psychic for the basics. More powers will be gained through your life." She announced. I smiled at her.

The moon goddess' face turned into a serious one,"Before you go, I must warn you 3 years from now, visitors will arrive at your house and you must keep them hidden from existence, okay?"

My face scrunched in confusion, but I nodded. What's so special about them? Hmm.

Suddenly, we were teleported back into the house. Jake looked up in awe. "Did you see the moon goddess?" He asked.

"Yup, and we got new powers!." Emily squealed, crushing Jake into a hug.

"But she said 3 years from now, visitors will arrive and we have to keep them hidden from existence?" I said, more of a question.

"What's so special about them?" Jake asked.

We shrugged.

I sighed. "We have to live alone, don't we?"

"We can live alone! Mom and Dad taught us everything for survival and no more vampires get to mess with us!" Emily grinned.

I frowned at the mention of Mom and Dad. "Let's go bury our parents and hunt for dinner." I said.

Emily nodded. We rushed outside to find their dead bodies. I used my earth element to dig two big holes for them. Jake was picking some wildflowers and Emily was lifting them up using her psychic powers. I buried them and Jake placed the flowers over them. We said a couple words before me and Emily shifted into wolves to hunt. Jake was preparing the fire to roast them tonight.

Time Skip....

After dinner and eating a massive deer, we all went to our bedrooms. I hopped into bed as Emily did too. I sighed and said goodnight to Emily.

I looked around the room. We only had a dresser and a poster of this band called One Direction. I was a fan, but not the die-hard ones that scream and cry in front of them. Meh. Overall, their music was great.

I sighed once again and drifted off to sleep...
