Alex's POV
"Honestly, I don't care what anyone has to say. I want you in my life. I know we just met but this is crazy, I think I'm in love. Your smile, laugh, and face make me happy. They make me feel like me. I can be myself. I don't have to worry about being as good as Austin. I'm me. And I want you."
I grabbed it's neck and smashed my lips against their own.
After about a couple of minutes, a cleared throat pulled me away from the bear.
"Alex?", her lips pursed into a fine line as she tried to contain her laughter but horribly failed, "Should I leave you two alone?"
She started to slowly back away and that's when I noticed she was wearing my grey sweatpants but she only had a sports bra on. A black one at that. Her stomach was toned and firmed.
She sure took care of herself. I shook my head of the dirty thoughts and threw the red, valentines day bear across the room before I ran after her.
So much for preparing a speech.
"Jen! Wait! It's not what it looks like!?"
I groaned as I made contact with her back. Her body froze as soon as she stepped on the top step of the staircase. I was a bit confused. Why did she stop?
"Are you okay?"
No answer.
"Jen?"
"Hmm"
"You okay?"
"Umm. No actually, yeah I am. You didn't tell me he was gonna be here."
What?
"Umm who?"
What is she talking about?
She pointed her head down the staircase and that's when I noticed that Austin was sprawled out on the couch in sweats and had no shirt on.
He probably decided to crash here after rehearsals to avoid paparazzi. Makes sense.
But why is Jen so worried about him?
Jens POV
I froze at the top step. The breath was knocked out of me. It couldn't be him, could it?
The memories. The pain. The love. The romance. All of it came back. It was all there. And so was he. There's was no way out now.
Years later, here he is. My gamemaker. The boy who ruined my chances at love.
"Is that Austin?"
"Yes", Alex answered in a 'duh' voice.
I gulped and slowly took baby steps back to avoid making any noise.
It took about two baby steps to run into Alex considering the fact he was right behind me. Literally.
He slowly placed his hands on my shoulders and began to lightly rub in.
"Is everything alright? Are you not comfortable with him being here? Because he's a celebrity? I mean, I can tell him to leave if you wa-"
"No!", I cut him off and reached for his hand as he was about to descend down the stairs.
I took a deep breath.
"It's fine. Is it alright if I sleep with you?"
Without hesitation, he answered with a short, "Yes."
I nodded my head in agreement after we discussed no funny business sleeping in the same bed.
I walked back into Alex's room and decided to pull his tshirt over my sports bra because there was a small breeze.
As I was pulling it over my head, I heard the bedroom door close and the bathroom door open. I guess Alex was gonna take a shower after his make out session with his teddy bear.
I wonder why he was doing that.
I shrugged it off and got under the covers. I shut my eyes and tried to let sleep take over me and it worked.
For about 5 minutes.
I rolled onto my back and stared at the white ceiling, trying to make pictures appear, when the bedroom door opened.
In walked Alex. Dressed only in a towel. The water trickled from his shoulder down to his toned abs and landed right above the towel. Which was pretty low, but I wasn't complaining.
"Like what you see?"
I looked up to his face and he had the most cockiest smirk on his face ever.
"I've seen better."
"Oh really?", he scoffed and dropped the towel.
My hands darted to my eyes and covered them even though I had a small urge to peek.
Keep it together Jen. You barely know him.
"Jen?"
"What?!"
"You can look."
"No!? Are you crazy? You're naked!"
He started chuckling and the bed dipped around me. I felt his hands wrap around my wrists. He slowly removed my hands from my eyes and held them in his own.
I slowly made eye contact with his lower half and noticed he had basketball shorts on. What?
I guess I didn't notice them because the towel was longer than the shorts.
"Seriously?"
He laughed. Oh that laugh.
"I wanted to see what you would do."
He made that stupid smirk again and my first instinct was to slap him across the face and wipe it off.
Then I realized he was still holding my wrists in his hands.
I struggled against him but it was no use. He was way too strong. After about two minutes of struggling, I gave up.
"You're never gonna get out you know?"
"Ugh, I know Alex. But it was worth a shot."
He shrugged and instead of releasing my wrists, he slowly pulled them up from my sides and placed them up above my head.
That's when I noticed he was hovering over me. His knees placed on either side of my body. His minty breath hitting my lips. Slowing breathing.
His chest so close to mine, that I was pretty sure there was no space in between them.
His eyes darted from my eyes to my lips then back to my eyes.
I couldn't kiss him. I barely knew him.
That's when everything that haunted me earlier came back and I knew I needed a distraction.
What the heck.
I nodded and started leaning in. But he had other ideas, instead he turned his head down and started to kiss down my jawline.
Leaving me breathless.
Placing quick, wet kisses down my collarbone, he held both my wrists in one of his hands and used the other to slowly rise up my shirt.
