Not through the sky, not on the moon,
Not in the words, nor in the runes,
Not in an ocean, not in the sand,
Not in the water, nor on the land.
Not in the forest, not on a mountain,
Not in a park, nor in the fountain,
Not in a city, not in a country,
Not on a bridge, nor it is faulty.
Not on a rock, not through the weather—
It's sometimes rough or light as a feather
Not through the clouds, though it is there—
Somewhere— beneath this mysterious lair.
Not through the sky, not on the moon—
If you don't have it, you're a complete fool
Not in an ocean, not in the sand—
For it's just lurking in yourself beforehand!
