Albino: A person lacking melanin pigmentation in the skin, eyes, and hair.
That's what Ludek Royu was. His entire life he'd felt as though something was missing, and it wasn't the lack of color in his hair. Nor was it the lack of color in his skin...

Throughout the entirety of the school day, my mind continued to drift off to the pale beauty. No amount of equations could keep my mind focused on what was in front of me. My hands where itching to grab a hold of a paintbrush wishing I could replicate that beautiful shade of blue. Yet the more I thought about him, I began to fear that I would forget the exact shade. Would my mind begin to make up details to replace what I did not know.
"Okay. What is it Rose?"
The realization that I was with my best friend dawns on me. Before I could give her an excuse she gasps dramatically.
"I know that look!" She whisper yells. "You always get like this when you get another one of your people obsessions!"
"Shesh. Make me seem like a serial killer much?" I gape my mouth at her feigning sadness. "It's not as weird as it sounds Mia. You just don't get it because it's an artist thing." I huff out childishly. It was true though. Whenever I came across beautiful people I would obsess about them. Not them in particular, but how an exquisite thing like their figure would look on a canvas.
"Um excuse you. But this is art." Her hand gently caresses the side of her face.
I smile at her dramatic tendencies, but I couldn't agree more. Mia's canvas was a lot less smaller than my canvases, but she was an artist nonetheless. Mia had the ability to create masterpieces on her eyelids. How she manages to do this I had no idea, but at least two times a week Mia would show up to school wearing her new masterpieces, and this girl, made it work.
"Anyway. Who is it." Mia props her elbow on the wooden table and rests her chin on her hand. Her attention no longer directed to her notes, but rather on me. I stare into her deep brown eyes. I could probably lie. Oh who am I kidding.
"I don't know Mia. We just bumped shoulders in the hallway. That's all." My eyes shift away from her face and to the nearest clock on the wall. "I've got to go Mia. Leo is probably already waiting for me."
Mia leans back against her chair, "Ughh you never tell me anything anymore." She groans dramatically as if hearing about my people obsessions was what kept her alive. I roll my eyes at her and continue to pack my things.
I had stayed after school for a couple hours in the library. I knew myself well enough to know that if i had gone home I wouldn't have study or gotten my homework done. A task that had been easy for me had suddenly become impossible. And it was all because of a certain blue eyed beauty. Oh god. This probably isn't healthy. With all my belongings in my bag I walk away from the table, but not before promising we would hang out tomorrow.
I walk out the library doors, giving a small sigh of annoyance at the fact that the student parking lot was all the way across the building. The very large building. My steps echo throughout the empty halls. The eerie feeling making me widen my steps. What made it scarier, was that the sun had already set, providing no extra light. Without even realizing it,I had walked though half the building already. Just one more turn to go and I would be out.
