Dilo se khelna ye hamare bas ki baat nahi.
Jisne shaayar hai banaya ye unki aadat hai,
Dilo ko todna ye hamare bas ki baat nahi.
Log sath jeene marne ki kasme khate hai,
Iss shokh me hum bhi aik waada kar baithe.
Hum teri yaad ko na marne denge uss dum tak,
Jab talak qalam me sayahi aur iss jism me rooh baaki hai.

37. I AM POET
I am a poet, to play with words is my hobby,
To play with hearts, it's not my style.
It is the way of that person who has made me a poet,
To break the hearts, it's not my style.
I had seen many people making the promises to live and to die together,
So I had also done a small promise to her.
I will not allow to diminished your memories until,
There's a remnant of a single drop of ink in my pen and soul in my body.
