Griff: our name is Griff jones And Abigial McCormick and we are ex juveniles
?: what happened to her?
Abigail: i got into a fight by a 17 year old girl in new york. She kicked me really hard in my ribs and legs. I didnt want to fight because it was no purpose. I have to go to the hospital and they said that i was paralyzed. From my hips to the legs. But i will need to get a surgery in couple of months and therapy.
Griff: we were just like you. Stealing, vandalizing, all that sort. We been here for two years
?: two years is nothing
Abigail: really? For two years, we had been in many fights, cuts in our face, we cried all night. We didn't see our families. Imagine living with an inmate who is tough
Griff: the toughest inmate i had was her. Abigail was really tough. They made you share a cell with someone who is just like you. Some had to be with an adult.
Abigail: you can barely leave your cell. The officers dont care if you stay. We have friends our age who are staying here forever
