CARNAVAN CASTLE

Mary Carnavan was in her chambers.

"I don't think that Thomas will rule" she said.

She was dressed in a yellow dess,  a yellow ruffled Elizabethan collar, and yellow flat slipper shoes. She stared out of the gothic black window and decided to plan.

Suddenly a cold breeze came from the mountain.

      "Tis very  freezing" she said.

The warm fireplace warmed her chambers.

She smiled, as she focused on her work.

Suddenly she heard it; she heard the footsteps.

    They came to her door.

"Elizabeth, if that's you...." Mary said, then there was silence; deathly silence.

    Then no sound.

And more silence disturbed her thoughts.
