The fingers tapping against metal bothered the patrons around him. He refused to look anywhere but the door. The biting of his lips made blood start to flow. He couldn't taste it, he hardly could feel the pain.
And there she was.
Tavros caught his breath as a beauty walked through the door, her smile soft and her walk careful. He stands up to greet her with a kiss and hug, the night feeling to surreal for him.
"Hi Tavvy." He smiles as the two sit down. "Sorry I'm a few minutes late, parking was an utter mess."
"cOMPLETELY UNDERSTaNDABLE,," He says, his voice sounding shy and adorable compared to the smooth words from Y/N. "iT'S ALWAYS CRAZY." Y/n giggles slightly at his talk, loving the slight rasp mixed with childish drops in the voice.
The two talked and dined, their eyes only for each other. It was like the sound around them melted to nothing, all they heard was one another's laughter.
Food came and went, bellies full of rich dining. Dessert of chocolate mousse cake and a glass of wine followed, and Tavros started nervously ticking upon his leg again. Y/n takes notice and grabs his hand. She squeezes light and he looks up to a kind face.
"What's wrong, darling?" She asks, words sinking in like molasses. "You know you can tell me anything."
"i KNOW,, I kNOW,," he says with a weak wobble. "i dO,, UHH,, hAVE SOMETHING TO SAY." Y/n faces him with attention, the hand let go of, but the warmth still there.
Tavros clears his throat and shakily holds a velvety box in his pocket.
"y/N,, wE'VE BEEN DATING FOR ABOUT TWO SWEEPS NOW,, aND I FIND THAT I AM IN LOVE WITH YOU. dEEPLY IN LOVE,, gOG I SOUND CHEESY." Y/n giggles, her face becoming pink with the declaration of love.
"aND I WAS WONDERING IF WE MAY UHH,, taKE A STEP FURTHER IN OUR RELATIONSHIP." Y/n's hands fly to her mouth in shock, a box holding a ring with an amber stone in the middle.
"y/N L/N,, wILL YOU PLEASE MARRY ME?" Y/n's eyes slowly fill with tears of joy, her hands shakily reaching for the ring. Too hung up for words she nods. She nods again then reaches over the table and kissed Tavros passionately.
Tavros grins through the kiss, chocolate tears melding with clear ones on red and rusty cheeks. Once they separate, Y/n puts the ring on her finger and smiles at the glimmering thing.
"I love you so much, Tavros." She kisses him lightly on the cheek. "My Fiancé."
"i LOVE YOU TOO,, y/N." Tavros holds the girl close as they leave the restaurant. "mORE THAN YOU EVER KNOW."

**Ah, so short and sweet I know. Update on life: I auditioned in Mamma Mia at school and I am an extra again. Kinda bummed me out, but at least I didn't get cut out. Also, the boy I like likes me back and I am so happy! He needs time from a recent relationship that fucked with him, and he's also dealing with some harassment issues, so I'm helping him through this. He told me today that he liked me since Halloween! I start liking him then too, we and a few friends hung out and went t-or-t together. It was so nice to fell in love with him, he's really a sweet boy.
