i remembered when you came back the next day.
your eyes were devoid of the usual calm feeling and instead filled with a worried look. then, you spotted me.
"here, i went to the convenience store yesterday and bought you some sandwiches. i hope these would last you a few days." you took my cold, small hands into yours, and placed a small bag filled with food on them. i have a weak smile but soon it faded.
and then, i blacked out.
