[Chaeyoung's POV]

"Prince, king wants you to choose a material for the ball that will be held 2 days later." The tailor told me and I stood up.

I went to the tailor's room and choose the material I wanted.

I told the tailor the design that I wanted and he understood right away.

After that., I went back to my room and with a music player, I on a very slow and calming song.

I just laid down on my bed and closed my eyes.

But unknowingly, I fell asleep and when I woke up, it is already night time.

I rubbed my eyes and combed my hair to tidied it.

I then went down and saw dad and mum having dinner.

"Oh, you woke up. I saw you sleeping a while ago so I didn't wake you up." Mum said.

"It's okay..." I said.

"Sit down and have your dinner." Mum said and I nodded.

I sat down on my usual seat and start to eat my dinner.

I know that dad is still angry at me so I'm planning to talk to him once he have simmered down.

After eating, I decided to go out for a walk.

I inhaled the fresh air and walked around.

I then saw a place that have a sign on it.

I walked closer to the sign and it states,

'Walk in.'

I got no idea how to go in but when then I saw a hole.

I stretched my hand in that hole and I felt a metal piece.

I pushed it and the bushes opened.

I went in and look around to see a beautiful mini garden with a brick house, a wooden table and benches, a mini lake, some trees with fruits on it and a special tree with a tire tied on it.

It makes it look like a swing so I went forward and touch the tire.

It's very clean and the environment in there looks amazing.

This secret garden is covered by trees outside so nobody knows that it's secret garden.

I decided to bring my painting things here so that I could paint without anyone disturbing me since no one have ever discovered this place.

It is actually outside of the castle and right behind the castle as it is forest at the back.

I went in to the brick house and it wasn't small at all.

It may seems small outside but inside seems to have many rooms and each room are spacious.

I went to the biggest room and even though it is smaller than my room in the castle, at least the design is plain and simple.

The house even have open kitchen, large living room with a fireplace.

But inside the fridge and the cabinets are nothing.

I decided to buy some groceries for the house at least when I want to escape, I can hide here and I don't have to worry that I will run out of groceries.

But now is too late to buy as shops are already closed.

I then decided to go back to the castle first and buy it tomorrow.

The next day,

When I was buying the groceries, I admit that I was lousy in choosing the food and vegetables until a lady came to help me.

I look up and saw Mina.

She helped me picked the fresh vegetables and I thanked her.

She always come out to help me whenever I faced a problem.

After that, we went back to the park that we first met each other.

"Mina." I called and she hummed.

'I can't hold it anymore...' I thought.

"I like you for a very long time." I said and looked at her.

"Would you be my date?" I asked and she smiled shyly.

She nodded and I grinned.

"There will be a ball hold in my castle tomorrow. I want you to be my date." I said and she smiled.

"But I don't have any proper dress." She said.

"Don't worry, I will get someone to do it for you and I will deliver to you tomorrow noon. The ball will be held at 6 in the evening." I said and she nodded.

I then hold her hand and smiled to her.

"Let's go to one place." I said and dragged her to the secret garden.

I placed the groceries in the fridge pour a glass of water for her.

I give it her and she look at the beautiful garden.

"It's beautiful right?" I asked and she nodded.

"How did you discover this place?" She asked.

"Well, I was out last night for a walk after dinner. I walked around the castle and went into this forest. And then, I saw a sign hanged on the gate. Out of curiosity, I opened the door and discovered this place." I said.

"This will be our little palace." I said and she smiled.

"Actually, when did you fell for me?" Mina asked.

"When I first met you in the park. When you helped me to clean my wound. 14 years ago." I said.

"So now, how old are you?" She asked.

"23. You?" I asked.

"22." Mina said. (A/n: Just assume that Mina is younger than Chaeyoung in this story.)

"Looks young... Did your dad ever force you to go for blind date?" I asked and she nodded.

"Umpteen times..." Mina said and sighed.

"Me too... And everytime when he wants to meet that princess, it's for his own. It's not because I wanted it." I said and she hold my hand.

"So tomorrow, make sure you come to the ball. I want to introduce you to my dad." I said and she smiled.

She nodded and we continue to enjoy the beautiful moment in garden.

After a hour, I sent her back home and went back to my castle.

But before heading back, I went to a tailor shop and get Mina's dress.

"I want it by tomorrow noon." I said and the tailor nodded.

I then went back to the castle and went to my painting.

I start to paint her smiling with her beautiful gummy smile.

When I'm done, I kept the painting and went back to my room.

My costume is then sent to my room and I tried on it.

When I make sure that it fits perfectly, I took it off and changed into a casual clothes.

I then laid down win my bed and took out my sketchbook.

I then start sketching Mina with all details on her face.

Well, I actually love sketching and painting, just that dad think that it's too boring so he told me to stop sketching and painting as I focus on the training of how to be a king.

But the training is over but the real challenge have yet come.

'Please don't make things difficult for Mina and I. Please...' I thought and silently prayed, hoping that the god can hear my prayers.
