Aryan had sneaked out of the room with much difficulty. He knew Sofia was interested in him since long but he couldn't see a future for themselves. Plus, dating would mean a lot of distraction and that was not why he was here.
Walking to the kitchen, he found Shivaay sitting on the slab, a tablet in his hand. He looked up and scrunched his nose. "You could at least keep your adventures quiet."
"You were at the other end of the house!"
"And I could not sleep!"
Aryan chose not to answer and looked around. "Where's Ved?"
"He left the house last night, when you were gone. Said something about visiting family friends in Brookline."
Aryan groaned.
"He'll be returning anytime soon?"
"No idea." Shivaay got down the slab and walked to the sink, washing his now empty cup of coffee.
"Could you help me?" Aryan looked at him hopefully. Shivaay raised his eyebrow.
"What help can I possibly be?"
"You know Sofia?"
"The girl that goes around telling people that you guys are dating?"
"That very one." Aryan frowned and looked at him meaningfully.
"You proved her right?" Shivaay asked with a ghost of a smirk.
"I am not interested in dating!" Aryan whined softly.
"So should I deliver this message to her?" Shivaay raised an eyebrow.
"No, just that she should realise I am dating someone else. I'll take a slap but not a relationship."
"You want me to go hunt somebody who will claim to date you."
"Yes! ASAP."
"Dude, what?" Shivaay frowned.
"If you hadn't been so busy topping the semester you would have learnt all of this. Where is Vedant?" Aryan rolled his eyes.
Before they could think anymore, they heard, "Aryan? Where are you?"
"That's Sofia. Shivaay I am begging you. She will be difficult to handle."
Shivaay sighed. "I-"
Before he could continue, she was already there, standing at the kitchen door. She smiled widely when she saw Aryan and Shivaay titled his head, indicating her arrival.
Aryan closed his eyes before something struck him. "I am so sorry baby!"
Shivaay looked at him in amusement. He was just complaining about how difficult she would be and now calling her with nicknames.
Before Shivaay could move, however, Aryan turned to him with a puppy face. "Shivaay baby, I am so sorry, I won't do this ever again."
Shivaay froze, giving him a blank look. Aryan turned to him and grabbed his shoulders. "Please Shivaay. I was drunk and you know-"
"Please Aryan?" Shivaay began. He was utterly confused but now that Aryan had begun, Shivaay could give it a shot. "You know how much I love you but you still cannot accept the fact. You know what, go with Sofia, I don't want to see you again." Shivaay tried looking angry (he aced that look of course), and turned away.
"Aryan, what is going on?" They heard Sofia's voice from behind them, looking at them in disbelief. "Is this some sort of joke?"
"Joke?" Shivaay frowned. "You think I am joking?"
Sofia looked at Aryan who shrugged. "Sofia, we'll talk later, please leave."
"Talk later?" Shivaay interrupted, crossing his arms across his chest. "Aryan what could you possibly want to talk to her about. You know what, keep your Sofia with you. I am leaving this house."
Aryan grinned for a moment before turning to Sofia with pleading eyes. She was still disoriented, trying to grasp the situation.
"Aryan, you are not serious right?"
Aryan creased his brows. He had even gotten Shivaay to act for him. Now what did she want.
"If it is about us, we can talk." She looked at him earnestly and Aryan had to keep himself from rolling his eyes.
Shivaay 'angrily' stalking out of the kitchen and Aryan closely followed. Shivaay looked at him with panic.
"Why doesn't she leave?" Shivaay whisper-yelled.
"She can't believe that me, the hottest guy in Harvard and you, the second hottest guy are dating each other." Aryan rolled his eyes. "Vedant would have been a better option."
"This is because he is not here in the first place."
Sofia came out again, looking at them curiously.
Aryan's back faced her and he looked at Shivaay desperately who was thinking of some way to get out of this mess. He turned around and glared at Sofia before turning to Aryan. Aryan, for his part, quickly walked to Shivaay.
Before he knew what was happening, Aryan cupped his face. "I am so fucking sorry." He mumbled and pressed their lips together in a short kiss. Effectively turning them around, because he knew Sofia shouldn't see Shivaay's expression he pulled away and hugged Shivaay tightly, who was still frozen. He looked at Sofia hopefully who nodded lightly, taking the situation in.
He heard Shivaay mumble, "Congratulations, our roommate saw us kiss," and closed his eyes shut. Why was he so impulsive, again?

When Aryan was done, all three ladies were stunned.
"Shivaay Singh Oberoi's first kiss was my to-be-husband?" Avni was the first one to react.
"I am speechless." Meera sighed.
"I am now sure that Aryan is so stupid because you guys failed to stop it in time." Avni threw her hands up in exasperation, confused.
Aryan looked at Anika awkwardly. "What are your thoughts, miss Anika?" Aryan asked, grinning stupidly.
"Are you seriously proud of this?" Vedant rolled his eyes. "You know these two were rumoured to be a pair for the following one and a half year."
"Aryan?" Anika mumbled. "If it woukd have been any other guy, in place of Shivaay, I would have enjoyed this tale. But you know what, stay away from him." Anika shifted a bit in front of Shivaay making Aryan laugh.
"He is impossible." Shivaay mumbled.
Few silently exchanged looks before all of them burst into laughter.

No words, seriously. But you should know I have had this in mind for so long and I don't know how it turned out :P
