"You know I can not promise such a thing to you, father." Dahlia says as she looks at her father, the Sheriff of Nottingham.
His eyes pierce into hers. His jaw locks slightly before he nods his head. "Well then, my daughter. If you can't promise me that you will love him. Just make sure that he marries you." Her father says as he grins slightly at his daughter. "We both know Lord Robin of Loxley has the gold I need."
Dahlia looks at her father one last time before she nods. "Yes, father." Was all she said as she leaves the room.
And she can't help but feel disgusted at the things she has to do.
