Colors Any color can be considered grunge, but dyed hair wasn't as common in the 80s and 90s as it is now. If you're looking for a more modern, Tumblr-ish look, crazy dyed hair might be the way to go. However, if you're looking for an OG grunge look, natural looking colors like brunette, dark red, or black will probably look best. Any color will really work, though.
Lengths Again, any length will do, but some of the most common are medium length, like a tousled bob. Length and hair in general are more variable for a grunge look.
Textures Most grunge hair was/is slightly wavy and tousled, and not usually very curly or very sleek and straight. But, I'm going to say this again- hair doesn't matter all too much, so don't sweat it.
