"Do you have a pencil I could borrow?" Ben, or should I say Aaron, turns towards me in his desk.

"Uh."
I hand him the pencil.

"Cady what's the answer to number 4?" Mrs. Norbury, AKA, Kerry asks me.

My next line is.

"Mmmm so cute."

Pause for dramatic effect...

"UHH I MEAN......"

Shit what's my line!?

"I forgot my line I'm sorry."
I say as I shove my head into my hands while laughing.

"That's the third time today that you've forgotten that line Y/N!" Ben tells me teasingly.

"Don't act like you didn't forget to sing when we practiced Someone Gets Hurt yesterday!" I shoot back with an accusing smirk.

"I was simply pausing for effect." He says suddenly serious.

"You were standing up there, staring at Taylor until the song ended!"

"Well I... well, you've got me there." He says defeated as he cracks a smile.

"Bottom line is, we just started going off script three days ago. We all still need a little practice." I say.

"Let's run through it again?" He asks.

"Sure."

Time squip

I collect my things, ready to go home after a long day of rehearsal. Opening the door I come face to face with a nervous looking Ben.

"O-oh, hey what's u-up?" He asks putting his hand on the door frame trying to act causal.

"Nothing much.... I was just heading out."

"On the town or?"

I laugh.

"I have no social life and I'm tired."

He still stares at me questioningly.

"I'm going home silly." I say as I duck out from under his arm walking towards the exit.

"Oh."

He says catching up to me.

"Oh? Oh what?"
I say stopping at the door.

"Uh, well. I, I was wondering if maybe you'd..." he trails off, his eyes looking anywhere except at me.

"Maybe I'd?" I say with a small smile on my face.

"Well,-"

"Just say what's on your mind Ben."

He looks directly at me.

"Do you wanna go on a date with me?"

"I thought you'd never ask." I say.

Before he can respond I lean in and press my lips against his. Short but sweet.

"Sooo, that's a... yes?"

And I roll my eyes.
