The man was running faster and faster, hopefully to get away from the two figures coming after him. His hand tightened on the object he was carrying hoping to keep it close to him. The two figures were nearing him,
almost on top of him. The man began running faster, he wouldn't let them have her. Rain started to pour from the sky as the two figures pulled out their guns the man. The man stumbled almost loosing hold of the small infant he held in his arms, however he still kept running. The two figures had shot at the soleus muscle in the mans leg. His blood loss began to become too great as he neared the town square. The blood had soaked through his pant leg and was know leaving a trail behind him. Without warning the man passed out and the infant had landed about a foot away from him. The infant's sudden fall had caused a head injury which moved the brain so abruptly that it caused a concussion. The scene was awful, a young man bleeding out and a wailing infant by him. All seemed lost as the sounds of sirens and blue and red lights neared.

The prologue isn't my best, I'll admit that but at least it's something. Anyways hope it encourages you to want to read more of my book. Bye for now!
