Chapter 2
(Quinn's funeral)
Finns pov :
My wife is dead . She's dead and there is nothing I can do about it . I sat on the bed in my suit as I prepared to go to her funeral. I had a huge knot in my stomach, I felt like I couldn't breathe .
"Finn?" My brother Kurt said knocking on my door
I got up and said ,
"Hey man." And gave him a hug
"How are you doing ?" He asked me
"I don't know , it hasn't really sunken in yet . It's weird , I feel like she's still here but I know she's not ." I told him
He sat down next to me and said ,
"Quinn was an amazing wife Finn , I know you're hurting but I promise you won't be forever." He told me
"It feels like it is ." I said and got up and left the room .
(The funeral)
I was at the church doors greeting people when suddenly I saw her , the one that got away , my ex best friend and ex lover , Rachel Berry . She looked beautiful as always , she hadn't changed a bit . She walked up to me and said compassionately ,
"Finn." And gave me a hug
"Hi Rachel ." I said
"I'm sorry for you lost , I don't know what to say ." She told me
"Being here is enough ." I told her
She looked in my eyes and examined my face ,
"You haven't changed a bit , Hudson ." And went to her seat .
The pastor spoke about Quinn and then it was my turn . I secretly dreaded this moment , I never thought I would have to do this . I got up to the podium and raised the microphone. I cleared my throat and began .
"Hi everyone , first and foremost I wanna thank you all for coming to the celebration of my wife Quinn's life . Quinn was a wonderful person and even though she had her flaws she loved everybody in this room . I first met Quinn in high school and we were together ever since . I've watched her grow and flourish into this wonderful person and the love of my life ." I took a deep breath and then I looked at Rachel who had tears in her eyes , " she was my reason for living , and even though we're no longer together in this world , she will always be in my heart ." I said looking directly at Rachel and everyone clapped and I stepped down.
