The couple walked down the street, hand in hand, staring at the glowing fairy light strung around them. Lance's stomach began to grumble. Lance smirked at Pidge, "babe, I'm hungry."
"I've been hungry for hours." Pidge groaned. "Where should we go?"
Lance thought to himself, he retraced his steps in his head and remembered all the nice shops, restaurants and cafes they passed....
"Sushi train." He suddenly replied. He stared at his girlfriend and smiled, "whatcha say?"
"I've been craving sushi, lets go."
She grabbed his wrist and shoved him through the crowd, back to the sushi train.
The pair arrived in front of the small happy looking sushi train. They walked up to it, Lance slid the black door to reveal a cyan coloured room. "Wow!! It's cyan!!" Lance gasped. Lance stared at Pidge's blank expression, "its my favourite colour...." Lance said, fake hurt. "Why's that?" Pidge smirked. "You get cyan when you mix green and blue." Lance smiled warmly.
A elderly lady scurried out the staff only room and stared at the two.
Lance cleared his throat.
"Good evening!" He said cheerfully.
"Hello!!" She yelped cheerfully back. "Where would you like to sit? There's plenty of seats."

Lance and Pidge plopped down on the leather stools, eyes greedily staring at the plates filled with colourful sushi. Pidge stared in awe as she picked up a yellow plate with two crab nigiri's tightly wrapped with a strip of seaweed.
She placed in down in front of her and slid the chopsticks out of her packaging, She held the rice down as she held the crab between her chopsticks and pulled it out. She bit down on the soft and cold flesh and squealed. "I haven't eaten sushi in so long!"

"I ate it yesterday." Lance winked, Pidge stared at him. "Why didn't you take me?!" She pouted as he took a plate of avocado maki.
"I took Nyma with me, I know you can't stand her so I didn't ask."
He dipped a maki roll in soy sauce and put it in his mouth. "Nyma?" Pidge whispered. "Yeah, what about her?" Lance asked, mouth full of sushi.
"I thought you said you broke up with her...."
"What do you mean? I did."
"But... Why would you be with her?"
"She asked, why would I decline?"
"That's not the POINT LANCE!" She suddenly yelled, slamming her chopsticks on her plate. Pidge looked at him in disbelief, "how do you think I FEEL about this? She's not a nice person. You know that right?"
Lance glared at her. "You're just saying that because she's my ex girlfriend."
"She's not ONLY your ex girlfriend, she's a brat!"
"She's a friend of mine Pidge! I'm not cheating on you!"
"That's a load of bull."
"What is WRONG with you today?!" Lance yelled, slamming his hand on the marble table.
"NOTHING IS!" She yelled back, a few people began to stare at the couple, but they didn't care.
"Y'know what? You can pay for this, I'm going." Lance finished, jumping off the seat in anger, he stomped to the door and slid it open angrily, he slammed it shut, Pidge saw him in the window, walking away from the sushi train.
She stared at the window for a few minutes, regretting and processing what she just did and said. She gobbled down the rest of her food and placed the maki rolls and a couple of other pieces of sushi in a napkin, she wrapped it up and put it in her pocket, she gave the old lady $10, "KEEP THE CHANGE!" She yelped as she ran out the door.

Lance POV
I walked away from the sushi train in a huff, hands shoved in his pockets, people stared at him as they walked past. I ran a hand through his hair and sighed. Anger slowly disappeared and was replaced with disappointment.
Why did I have to tell her that?
Why does she hate Nyma so much?
Pidge, what happened?
I continued to ask questions I couldn't answer until he bumped into someone, he heard a "Oof!" before the person crashed to the floor. "I'm sorry!!" I yelled as I helped them up. I looked up.....
Nyma.

Pidge POV
I raced past people, earning glares and annoyed looks, but I didn't care, its the last thing I'm gonna care about today.
Where are you Lance?
I shouldn't of said those unkind words to you.
I kept running till I thought my lungs would burst, I let out a deep sigh and looked up, getting ready to keep on running... Fortunately...
I didn't need to anymore.
Because Lance was right in front of me, talking to Nyma.

Lance's POV
Nyma looked at me sadly, "i'm so sorry that had to happen."
"It's alright Nyma." I replied, scratching the back of my neck, embarrassed. "It's my fault, I shouldn't of asked you to come with me anyway."
Nyma looked down sadly, she looked up at me but only for a split second. She looked behind me, she let out a small gasp. "What?" I said. "Good luck Lance." She winked at the person behind me and hopped away.
I looked behind me to see Pidge, small and upset. "Pidge I-"
"No. Shut up... Here, eat these." She shoved a napkin filled with cold sushi.
I popped a piece of sushi in my mouth as she spoke. "I... I shouldn't of spoke to you like that. Nyma's your friend right? I should've gotten that through my head... You can... You can talk to ANYONE you want!! I... I'm sorry... I... I-"
"Sshh.... It's ok."
Pidge looked at me blankly. "It is? But the words I said were so cruel... so mean I-"
"Pidge! It's. Ok!! I know you didn't mean it, ok, maybe you did mean it, but I don't think you did?"
Pidge stared at me, "I don't think I meant it...."
"Babe, I know. But I shouldn't of hung out with her in the first place."
Pidge smiled. "Can we go back to the sushi train?"
"Pidgey, I'm not sure if we're allowed to go back." I sighed, I ran a hand through my exhausted face. Pidge moved my hand out of my face. "Let's go home then, we can eat popcorn... Watch a scary movie?"
I looked at her worriedly, "but you know-"
"It's fine!"
Pidge doesn't enjoy scary movies...
"Now c'mon!! Scream is waiting for us!" Pidge cheered, she grabbed his hand and dragged him through the crowd....
