Shawn: Everything okay?

(Y/N): Yeah, today I'm gonna do it

Shawn: You're gonna tell Courtney how you feel?

(Y/N): Yeah

Owen: Finally

Duncan growls

*Confessional*
(Y/N): I'm gonna tell Courtney how I feel, this the farthest I've ever gotten with a girl, this could be my only chance!

*Confessional switches*
Duncan: If that geek actually thinks he can get with Courtney, then he's gonna be really mistaken! There's no way Courtney will feel the same, I know she still likes me.. right?

Courtney twiddles her thumbs and nervously sits on her bed

Jasmine: What's the matter?

Courtney: I'm planning on tell (Y/N) how I feel but I'm really nervous

Jasmine: Ah don't be nervous mate, it seems like (Y/N) really likes ya

Courtney: You think so?

Jasmine: Of course, have you seen the way he acts around ya?

Courtney: I guess not

Jasmine: You can do it Courtney, I believe in ya!

Chris comes over to the huts and tells everyone to group up so he can announce something, (Y/N) goes up Courtney

(Y/N): Courtney, hey!

Courtney: Hey (Y/N)

(Y/N): There's uh.. something I have to tell you

Courtney: Funny that you say that, I need to you something too

Chris: Alright, since there are only 12 out 20 contestants left, it's about time that the two teams become one! So starting now, there are no more teams!

*Confessional*
(Y/N): I can't believe I made it to the merge! I was honestly expecting to be kicked off on the first episode! Guess the new guy ain't so much of an underdog huh?

*Confessional ends*
Chris: Now before I explain the challenge, everyone follow me

Chris takes them to the cave that went into before to look for that artifact

Chris: Now you guys are going to team up into groups of two, and because I'm nice, I'll let you pick your partners

(Y/N): So Courtney, do you wanna.. you know, be my partner?

Courtney: Of course

Alejandro: Would my lovely flower want to work with me?

Heather: As if!

Heather looks around to see Owen teaming up with Gwen, Shawn and Jasmine are a team, and so are Sky and Duncan, Dawn was warming up to Scott so she decided to go along with him, Heather groans in annoyance and anger

Heather: Fine!

Chris: Alright, now that everyone has a partner I can get to the point of the challenge, similar to the Pahkitew Island challenge "Break Back Mountain" but you must work together to make it to the top of the mountain while avoiding numerous obstacles and traps
