Aged!! Don't worry, they're all aged up! Don't @ me!
Molly's P.O.V Libby and I were getting ready for a New Years party. I didn't want to go but Libby was forcing me to go because she got asked by one of the most popular guys in school, Jack Grazer. I, of course, don't have a date because I look like an egg.
When we got there, the house just smelt like alcohol, cigarettes and sweat. I was not looking forward to this.
Finn's P.O.V Jack had made me throw a huge ass party at my house because it is 'the biggest' out of ours. I didn't want a party but Jack insisted that we had one because he had a date, lucky for him. I didn't have a date, even though I had girls (and guys) throwing themselves at my feet, I just didn't like any of them. But there was this one girl. This one girl who didn't obsess over me. She just lived her life normally. Her name is-
"Dude, what are you doing, come and dance!" Caleb shouted over the music, interrupting my thoughts. "Unlike you, we all aren't pros at dancing bud!" I shouted back and went to get a drink.
When I walked into the living room I saw her. The one person I wasn't expecting. She was here. In my house. At my party.
Molly's P.O.V When we got inside, Libby went to find Jack. I went and sat down on my own.
I soon got bored of just watching people dance so I went on my phone. I pulled out a cigarette and started smoking, seeing as the house is already a mess.
Finn's P.O.V She...She smokes? I never know that. Well I guess I wouldn't seeing as I only see her in 3 lessons. One thing we have in common then.
I need to find a chance to talk to her. Oh, I know.
Molly's P.O.V "Excuse me, you can't smoKe in heRe." Someone told me with two voice cracks. I look up to see Finn Wolfhard. Why was he talking to me? Quick Molly, think of something funny. "Ha, I remember going through puberty." I said referencing his voice cracks. He chuckled and then I stood up. "Where are you going?" He asked me. "Outside? You said I'm not allowed to smoke in here." "Oh yeh, I'll join you." "No it's fine, I wouldn't want to ruin your social status by talking to you." I sarcastically said whilst walking away.
When I got outside, I leaned over the porch. He didn't follow me, I kind of wish he did though. I was stood there for a while until I heard someone come out. "I was hoping you were still out here." I looked to my left to see Finn holding two red solo cups full of liquid. I then put out the cigarette butt and flicked it into a bush. "Do you mind?" He asked, handing me a cup. "Oh sorry!" I said and went to pick it up. He started laughing and said "I'm joking!" I just rolled my eyes and went to my original place, leaning over the porch. I took a sip from the cup and then Finn asked "Why are you here, you don't look like you are enjoying it?" "My friend dragged me here because she got a date with Jack Grazer." I replied "Oh, your friend is Libby?" He asked and I nodded. "I wanted to go with someone but I'm like 100% sure she doesn't like me, either that or she is really good at hiding it." He told me. "I bet she likes you, literally everyone I know likes you, apart from Libby." I reassured him. We talked for a while but then this girl ran out side. "Finn, it's..." she looked at me and gave me a disgusted face. "It's one minute until midnight!" He just nodded and she ran in.
"What are you doing still standing here?" I asked him. "What do you mean?" He questioned. "Go in there and kiss the girl you love!" I told him. He kinda just sat their scared. I rolled my eyes, stood up, grabbed his hand and pulled him in.
When we got to the middle of the dance floor. "Okay, what does she look like?" I asked whilst looking for her. "Well she is about 5'4, brown eyes, brown hair." He told me and I rolled my eyes. "Well that doesn't help, 90% of the girls in here fit that description. Hell, even I do!" I started and then looked at him and continued "give me details, what is she wearing? What is her hair like?" Before he could answer someone shouted "30 SECONDS UNTIL MIDNIGHT!!" "Well...she has a green dress on...and her hair is curly." I looked around and saw nobody that fit that description. Then I spotted a mirror pointing at me. "10...9...8...7...6...5..." Curly brown hair, brown eyes, green dress, about 5'4. I looked at Finn. "4..." I furrowed my eyebrows "3..." "What?" I said to him "2..." He walked closer to me. "1..." He held my head in his large hands. "HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!" He then kissed me. He actually kissed me. What on earth is going on?! Everything went extremely quiet. We pulled away from the kiss and looked around. EVERYONE was looking at us. "What the fuck just happened?" I said a bit too loud. Everyone started laughing but some of the girls looked jealous.
Libby came up to me and screamed "OH MY FUCKING GOD! YOU JUST KISSED FINN! HOW DO YOU FEEL?!" "Libby just give me a minute, I need to process what just happened." Making us laugh. "So, did you kiss Jack?" I asked her and she nodded rapidly "it was magical!" Which made us laugh. I looked over to Finn to see he was surrounded. "One second Libby." I told her and walked over to Finn.
As I slipped my way through the crowd, I heard things like "you finally did it bro!" "I'm proud of you Finnlard!" But then there were the girls "How could you?!" "Why her?!" When I finally got to Finn, everyone went quiet.
"LET'S DRINK TO THE HAPPY COUPLE!" Jack shouted and everyone cheered. I looked up at Finn and asked "Does it make us a couple because we kissed?" I asked "not unless you don't want us to be." He said almost like a question. "I would love that." I said and smiled. He then leaned down and kissed me again causing an uproar of screams and cheering. Out of everyone, I heard Libby shouting "OTP! MINN!" Over and over and then everyone started joining in. I just blushed and smiled.
I'm so glad I came to this party!
