Finally a poem after such long time.

Oh stars
I have read a thousand
Poems on you,
Each one unique
Each one new.
They all claim they know stars
As well as they know
Their own scars
But no one seems to get it right
I guess no one really tried.
But I'm sorry stars
For this one is not about you
It is about how we are all
Really like you.
Friends are like stars
The one you think is the closest
Is the one that can hurt you
The most,
Become friends with those
Who in the sea of grief
Become your coast
And not with those who
Unnecessarily need to boast.
Our problems are like stars
From a distance they seem
Beautiful, almost harmless and delicate.
But only the ones living in the
Day, know what they truly are.
People are like stars
At first glance it looks like
We are close and connected
But one hardly knows of the secrets the other hides.
And finally
People are like stars
For when we die
We create a void
That sucks in all happiness and leaves memories of
Guilt, grief and pain.
