ever since fred's funeral, ginny had gone silent.
at first it was not by choice. she tried to say something at dinner the same day, but nothing came out of her mouth. maybe it was because she had cried until she threw up, maybe it was because of the overwhelming grief, but she had lost her ability to communicate through speech, at least for a time.
later on, no one really knew if ginny could still talk. her silence had become a habit and she never tried to speak anymore. she didn't want to.
harry suggested she see a muggle doctor called a therapist, that they would help her get her speech back through helping her deal with grief.
the question was, did she really want it again?
