(AN) FINALLY! AN UPDATE!! XD

=============================

The other monsters ignored him after that bout.

He wasn't supposed to be here, and he guessed that the monsters knew it too.

Such a twisted story, your highness, he thought.

Kuroha wandered around the forest that afternoon, until nightfall, and the next morning. He was getting very bored of the tale already. Although he knew he could easily slip into that world if he wanted to, he needed to do it while assuring his way out.

The more surrogates, an idea formed in his head, the more chances of creating a new queen.

The current queen doesn't seem to want her throne.

The person he was waiting for might arrive later than expected, so Kuroha thought of hanging by the cliff.

He took a deep breath as he faced the sprawling castle grounds thousands of feet below him. He squatted next to a rock, dangling his legs dangerously over the edge.

A faint memory suddenly surfaced in his mind.

A dingy classroom with the scent of formaline, two desks, a cat next to the fountain and . . . a girl in black twin tails.

Kuro-Konoha clenched the dry grass as the scene threatened to take over his consciousness. He was trying to fight back.

"I-I-It's fine!!! It doesn't matter how it happened!!!! Just hurry up and put some clothes on!!!!!!!"

"Ehh? But my clothes aren't dry yet. See?"

A damp uniform on the dryer, a shirt under his foot . . . and the girl trying to get him to wear a jersey.

"Uwaaa!! No, it's fine Takane, I can put it on myself!! Wait~ that's for the other arm..."

"Gyaaaa~!!! Stop moving!! DON'T FACE THIS WAY!!!!!!"

Takane.

"SHUT UP!!!!"

The sudden shout that escaped from his mouth surprised him even more than the name. He stared hard, red irises bleeding with anger, the thin line of his lips curling into a ferocious snarl.

However, a new presence stole his attention.

He caught a quick glimpse of two short-dressed girls before the red-clad one suddenly lashed out at him with her clawed hands. Kuroha managed to spin on his heel and duck under her arms with almost a scratch on his eye, which was turning back to a shade of bright yellow.

"So you're the new entity Torchwick was whining about," the silver-dressed girl said with arms crossed. He noted how sharp her heels were. "I thought he was talking about a monster or that sort."

I'm a different kind of monster, Kuroha thought. The one who destroys a human beyond death.

Before he could even move, the other red-dressed girl had already grabbed him from behind and raised a knife-claw to his throat.

"So who ARE you?" she asked sweetly, with just a hint of annoyance in her voice. He could still smell something like cooked meat in her breath.

He kept silent, yet the smirk in his mouth never swayed. These people, if they WERE people, were too strong for him. And he was outnumbered.

"I don't think he's the talking type, Militia." The silver twin continued to do her pose, sticking out her hip on the right. She flipped her hair to the side.
