date night part 1

annabeth POV:

"so how long have you and Percy been dating?" Emma asks.

"well we've been dating for two years but we've known each other since we were 12" I tell her

"ohhhh. so you've been friends for a while and now you're dating. cute!"

I smile at her. she seems to have gotten over the hellhound fright thing. we talk for a bit before I have to get ready for my date. I ask Emma if she would like to help and of course she says "yes" so we race to my cabin and I pull out 2 dresses? what? how? oh. I walk back into the room to see Aphrodite sitting next to Emma on a spare bunk bed. I sigh and walk over

"okay so then. blue or green? ok this is just...." I think for a second

"cute?" Emma suggests with a shrug and a smile

"I guess" I say. "but anyway which one?" Emma and Aphrodite have a whispered conversation with each other and all I pick up is

".....favorite color.....blue...... eye......green" I stand there for a while before they both look at me again

"try on both and we'll see which one is nicer" they say in unison. I go into the bathroom and change into the green dress and walk out.

"hmmmm. well its cute but a little on the short side" Emma comments

"yeah. try the blue one" says Aphrodite. I go back into the bathroom and put on the blue dress and walk out.

"yes" says Emma and Aphrodite in unison. after that Aphrodite leaves so Emma does my hair and make up. when I look in the mirror I gasp. she did a great job.

Percy POV: I take a deep breath and knock on the door of the Athena cabin and annabeth opens it. I stare at her. she looks beautiful. she's wearing a blue dress, silver pumps, her hair is down and she's wearing a small amount of makeup.

"you look amazing!" I say

"aww thanks seaweed brain" she says,blushing slightly.

"ready to go?" I ask, bowing slightly and holding out a hand.

"why yes I am" annabeth says, laughing and taking my hand.

time lapse

we arrive at the resteraunt at around 7:50. I hold the door open for annabeth and she laughs.

"why thank you kind sir" she jokes. I grin and wrap an arm around her.

"table for two?" says the waitress

"yes please" I say

"follow me" she says leading us to a table in a corner. I pull out a seat for annabeth and then sit down on one for myself.

"here's your  menus" she says and walks off.
