I was sitting on the ground in handcuffs screaming. Watching the boat my daughter was on still on fire. I wanted this to be a dream. The police got closer to me and said we received a phone call that a boat was on fire. I just cried they seen me in the handcuffs and grabbed the boat cutters and freed me. They asked what happen I explained it all, but I still didn't know who the woman was. The smoked went miles out one officer said. I gave them the name of the child Aiden and told them that her sister name was Lorain was was currently serving time. They asked me to give them a moment I walked closer to the dock. I was beyond hurt. My first child was about to be something great. She had an amazing future ahead of her. I ruined it for her I didn't take what Lorain told me that day serious. She won she made me see what it feels like to lose something so near and dear to your heart right before your eyes. The officer came back and said Mrs. Verdall we have searched the entire ship. Under the water and everything. We haven't found her body. It's possible that sharks may have eaten her remains, or the shore has pushed her farther out. In a case like this we look for a full week. After that we file an incomplete report and that's where we stay until we receive any leads or anything. The officer I spoke with before and had given the names to came back and said. Lorain never had a sister. In fact she was an only child. I have received information that Lorain payed to have a woman look exactly like her to take over her life. The jailhouse where Lorain was serving her time found several letters she had written, but never sent off. I'm headed in to read and investigate each one. I'll get back to you when I have more information. If there is anything in your daughter room that could help us out. Please get it to the office as soon as possible. This information was to much. Lorain did everything she could for revenge against me. I knew why I had stolen her husband, but it had to be much deeper than that. What could it have been though?
