Ji-Sua was skeptical and was confused at the whole situation. Breaking there contact and pulling herself away from his arms she had sat herself just afar from him and patted her clothes acting as if she was more worried about the wrinkles of her clothing .
Son O-Gong watched her before he had gotten up from the ground, clicking his tongue be was about to say something but he was soon stopped when he had a sudden headache. Stumbling from his step and the harsh pain, Ji-Sua nearly jumped up straight to her feet without further words as she went to his side.
"Son O-Gong, Are you okay?" she said holding unto his arms for support.
Son O-Gong had gotten bright flashes that repeatedly flicker, memories we're starting to return back leaving O-Gong to have such a bad reaction. The dreamscaoe around them had turned completely white and starting to fade, ringing we'r heard from O-Gongs ears as the environment was getting hazy.
Ji-Sua saw a portal that soon opened from afar , seeing O-Gong in this state he couldn't bare to even make it any far.
"C'mon, I'll carry you" she ushered before he could even give the answer.
Taking his hands and throwing it over her shoulders, she had managed to use her strength to carry him on her back. His weight had slowed her down from reaching the portal but that didn't stop her. Huffing and puffing , she had managed to jump right through the portal before the world could engulfed them .
Once they went through the portal, O-Gong had felt light, the area around him had looked different. He was at a familiar location that he had somewhat remembered by the looks of it. Observing the structure stone building , small waterfalls cascaded down the walls giving it a more nature feeling as if he was home.
Walking around the place, he felt at ease and at peace. He had felt sane at the source of the energy that was given to this place. From afar O-Gong wasn't by himself, he was also here with someone else.
"Son O-Gong? "The voice called out grabbing his attention quick.
Just from afar, Son O-Gong gazed at the fairy who peered at his direction making his stomach flutter with butterflies. Ji-Sua looked so breathtaking and O-Gong had to admit it to himself that she was .
"Ji-Sua? What are you doing here? " He asked as the fairy smiled showing her pearly whites.
"It's time for you to wake up "
Stammering at her words, all of a bright light suddenly beamed towards the Monkey King who was knocked off from his feet making him fall back from force . The feeling of him free falling made him panic, O-Gong soon gasped for air as jerked himself up from the couch in reaction with the terror that came with it.
Right beside him was Sam Jang who was sleeping beside him with he hands enclosed in his. Taking a moment to grip everything O-Gong was main focus was on Ji-Sua. Pulling his hands away from Sam Jang and covering her with a blanket, he then went out of the complex and went to search in the bedroom if Ji-Sua was around.
Ji-Sua was just outside gazing at the forecast above, the sun was not out but the day was very cloudy and cold from high winds. The whole night was very exhausting for Ji-Sua , she could not sleep peacefully yet without knowing if she had succeeded or not . Son O-Gong had been in slumber for a few days and has no been woken up,only Seon-Mi and her had made it out successfully.
Turning herself around to head back inside, she had met the Monkey King who was standing before her. Her lips parted in surprised to see that he was finally awake. Ji-Sua heart dropped when she saw the man before her, he came back in peace. A heavy burden soon lofted from her shoulders as she smiled at him
"You're awake, I thought I wouldn't be able to see you"
Before she could continue asaying anything else, O-Gong nearly rushed to her and threw his arms around her small frame holding Ji-Sua in his arms tightly.
"Ji-Sua. I remember everything. I'm sorry for not keeping my promise"
Ji-Sua was lost for words , she didn't know how to respond to him. Her hand slowly reached to his back as she pats the monkeys back lightly to comfort him.
"You remember?"
"I owe you so much, you had always been by my side even when I was inprisioned. Just seeing you suffer was inbearable to see. I was so focused on getting my revenge that I forgotten what was most important to me. It was you."
Ji-Sua pursed her lips as she hushed him . It was a relief that O-Gong had finally remembered her . It made her feel like everything-was worth it all in the end, now that she finally got back her friend. Right before she could say a thing O-Gong eyes snapped open before he pulled Ji-Sua away and held her in spot.
"I remember something........your sword. To find your soulmate?" He said .
Ji-Sua heart sunk making her face red, if he did remember that situation then he could if remembered everything else. Her face reddened making her brea a sweat.
"Ah-ah! I don't know what you're talking about, wait, do you hear that! The Bell is ringing which means I have to go do some errands! " She said slipping away from his grip.
O-Gong slowly covered his mouth with his hands as he wrinkled his nose at the thought of him being her soulmate.
"No...way" he uttered nearly falling weak to his knees.
