Evan's knuckles were white with fear as the large airbus took off with terrible grace. Soaring into the sky, the plane cut through the clouds and flew high above the town he called home.'Wait for it' from Hamilton roared through his headphones as he took an uneasy breath.
The plane jumped up and down as if it was leaping through the sky at a very unsteady pace. Evan was not keen on flying. Not one bit.
Through the window, a view Evan had never seen before awaited him. The dawn light had painted over the landscape, giving it a golden glow. He peered out of the window, admiring the view. Then he pushed himself back into the seat when his stomach began to stir. Scrunching his eyes closed, Evan thought of his destination, and new home, New York City.
