a walk in the park (part 1)

~ saturday morning ~

'breakfast's ready, kiddos!' 

patton wrote on the notepad in bold, capital letters before showing it to the others, who were waiting at the table. there, the mute served them various foods like waffles, pancakes, bacon, cookies. you know, the usual.

roman was the first to dig into the food, with virgil being the last.

after all of them finished eating, the rich brunette suddenly spoke up. 

"listen all of you, i've got a brilliant idea of what to do today!"

"tell me all about it." virgil murmured with an annoyed tone, seemingly not in the mood. roman momentarily glared at the emo teen before continuing what he wanted to say. 

"i thought that since patton's here with us for a while now, why not have some time bonding with eachother as friends? like, taking a break from this stressful week."

"where do you suggest we do this 'bonding' idea of yours?" logan questioned, his blank expression not changing still.

virgil looked at roman with a bored expression as the brunette tried thinking of a nice location. 

'...we could try taking a walk at the town's main park.' patton suggested, writing it on one of his post-it notes.

"magnificent idea! let's go there now!" roman said with an enthusiastic expression.

"well, i guess it's a nice place." virgil said, almost too incoherently quiet to hear. "affirmative." logan said in agreement.

after some time later, the four got prepared and went to the said park.

there, roman and virgil started setting up a picnic place for the group while patton and strangely, logan wandered about the wide park, though not straying far away from their other two friends.

the park itself was nice and had a very natural touch. it was like they are walking in a beautiful, large field. it was quite familliar for the both of them.
