January 10th

Devans POV

"Good morning gorgeous." Grayson said as I sat down on the stool next to the island,

"Morning." I said placing my hands on my back so I could pop it,

"Did you sleep ok? I kinda felt you moving around a lot." He said and I sighed,

"No. I think I need a pregnancy pillow or something, it's starting to get hard to carry this baby boy. I'm not THAT big....but it's still really uncomfortable." I said and he chuckled,

"I'm so happy we're having a boy....I wonder what he looks like." He said leaning against the island looking at my stomach,

There was a sudden knock at the door and our heads snapped towards it

"Is that E?" I asked,

"No, he like just left for his run." Grayson said and I looked at him confused as I got up,

I walked over to the door and opened it to see Ruqaya, Kayliana, Iris, and Julia.

They all screamed and hugged me

"Woah, down girls....don't hurt the babe." I said and they all back away and looked at my belly,

"You're getting so big, and still you slay like a fucking queen." Iris said and I giggled,

"Come in, Lola and Parker are on a little trip so we've had the house to ourselves." I said and they nodded looking at the huge house they stood in,

"Just you two?" Ru asked,

"Well Ethan too, but he barely ever interacts with us so it's like he's not even here." I said with a shrug and sat back down,

"Would Parker and Lola mind if we stayed here until you had Reese?" Julia asked and I snorted,

"They won't mind...but I'm not due until April...?" I said as more of a question,

"Hell that baby could come whenever! And when it does imma be there." Kayliana said and I smiled,

"Thank you girls, you guys are the sweetest." I said and they all flipped their hair saying 'we know' making me laugh,

"Sooo Grayson, How is everything?" Iris asked,

"Good, still trying to wrap my head around buying baby stuff." He said with a laugh,

"You're already buying clothes?!?!?" Ruqaya asked,

"Well in the words of the great Kayliana, the baby can arrive whenever....so we want to be prepared." I said and Kayliana winked at me,

"Where will we sleep?" Julia asked,

"Oh I'm sorry, I'll show you." I said hopping off of the stool and leading them up the stairs and then to their rooms,

When I went back downstairs I sat down on the couch and rubbed my stomach flipping through channels.

Then.....my phone dinged indicating that I had gotten a message.

I looked at it and was shocked to see the name.

One unread message from Dad

Shocked, I sat up and held onto my stomach remembering the heartbreak he put me through.

"Dev? Are you ok?" Grayson asked running over to me, he took a knee at the couch and rubbed my back trying to comfort me.

"He messaged me." Is all I said,
