Susan's POV
It hurts, its aching , its painful
Is this what it feels like to be heart broken,
I never expected to become a victim of heart break so early,
Why me, why did youth have to choose me
What did I ever do wrong,
I pick my phone and I dial Jake
He picks on the second ring,
"Morning suz" he says sleepily
I can't hold the urge to cry
"J-a- -ke , I fff-feel awful" I stammer ,
And I can hear him sit up,
"Damn suz are you okay? Where are you , I'll come pick you right away" Jake says with concern
"Whats wrong Is she okay?" I hear a female voice ask in the background,
That should be Carla ,
"I took a cab already, I'm heading home , could you both come over?" I ask sobbingly
"Yeah sure, we'll be there shortly" they both say
"Thanks" I say as I hang up ,
The image keeps replaying in my head, her face was so close to youth's , he looked happy , she was wearing his shirt, they probably spent the night together ,
He sent a text asking me to come over and that he misses me, and like a fool I ran to him.
Why choose to hurt me so bad, what did I ever do ?
The cab arrives at my house , I pay him of and go in
I limp, my feet still hurts from last night
I unlock my door, take of my jacket and throw myself on the couch , my head is aching ,
Few minutes later someone or rather some people barge into my house, its Carla and Jake, aren't they just the best gift anyone can get,
I sit up
Jake and Carla joins me on the couch
"Tell us what happened" Carla demands ,
Without asking for, jake stands up and walks over to the fridge and pours me a glass of water,
He hands it over to me, i gulp down all the water, how did he know i need this
I narrate all that happened to both of them and Jake's reaction takes me with surprise,
He's fuming so bad, I've never seen him this angry
Just we hear a knock on the door, Carla stands up to get it ,
"You can't see her now , just go " we hear Carla say, I wonder who is at the door,
In long strides Jake goes over to the door to find out who it was , and the next thing I know , I hear punches flying through I run outside to see Jake atop youth,
"You don't get to treat her like other girls, cause I'm gonna f*cking kill you" Jake says,
Youth is not fighting back
I and carla run over to stop Jake, ouch my feet hurts, he seemed uncontrollable but he stopped and stomped inside ,
On seeing me , youth stands up immediately,
"Baby just hear me out" youth begs,
His face is bruised, I hate so much to see him this way ,
I remain silent,
"You should leave youth" Carla speaks for me , he ignores Carla, he goes on his knee
"Please leave youth, you saw Jake, he's angry, even if you deserve it, I don't want him hurting you again, just go" I say weakly,
Slowly he stands up and leave, it takes everything in me to run to him and stop him from leaving but I don't, Carla holds me by my waist and leads me inside while I sob my heart out.
Youth's POV
Susan just asked me to leave,
I feel thorn apart right now, I could take Jake's beating all day as long as she would listen to and believe me,
I'm not mad at Jake for beating me, he proved to be a good friend,
I'm not mad at Carla for asking me to leave, she's concerned about Susan's welfare
I'm not mad at Susan for not believing me, I was yet to make her trust
Me
I'm mad at my f*cking self for falling prey to Denni's tricks.
(Flash back)
After Susan left my house, I went back in ,
Dennis came over to hold me, I pushed her away so hard that she fell to the floor, I didn't care if she even died,
I picked my phone from atop the fridge and checked my outbox and I saw a text sent to Susan saying "Baby come over to my house, I miss you"
I immediately sent a cold glare at Dennis lying on the floor rubbing her arm from the fall,
"You sent her this text didn't you!?" I blared ,
she was unshaken
"I hate you Dennis, I hate you so much for trying to ruin my happiness" I barked, her eyes widens but she remains silent
I ran upstairs, grab my shoes and car keys , and ran downstairs
"Before I get back , I want you to take your filthy things and leave my house!!" Barked as I stormed out of the house and headed for susan's.

I drive back home, Dennis already left, I sigh in relief as I throw myself on the couch,
I pick up the remote and flip through the channels , none seem to interest , my mind is cast on Susan, I pick up my phone I dial her number , it rings but she doesn't pick , I dial again but this time its switched off.
I didn't f*cking do anything wrong to deserve this treatment! If only she'd just hear me out !
I doze of , I'm awoken 2hrs later by the persistent buzzing of my phone ,
I check it, its a reminder , I made an appointment with the doctor to go check up Susan's feet ,
I wish she would go,
I send her a text on WhatsApp
Asking her to go to the hospital for check up ,
She reads the text but don't reply
I hope she goes.
