Mask had decided to visit the arcade out of boredom, and was currently walking home. He enjoyed the peace and the view a lot. It was sunset, the array of pink, purples and oranges reflecting on clear water from a lake. The sidewalk was a clean light gray, with several trees nearby making the scene absolutely beautiful.
But the peace didn't last forever. Aloha was walking the same way, and happened to see Mask.
"Hey! Didn't expect to see you here~" Aloha yelled, excited to see him.
"Why are you here?" Mask replied, very annoyed that his peace was interrupted.
"Just got done surfing. I walk home this way. What 'bout you?"
"I'm walking home too."
"Hey, wanna walk home together~?" Aloha asked, eagerly awaiting Mask's reply.
"No. Why am I even talking to you?" Mask didn't even look at him even though he was right in front of his face as he started walking faster.
"Pleeaaseee? I don't like walking home alone."
"You do it all the time," Mask replied, recalling that after every S4 meeting, he walked home alone.
"No, I don't! Just let me come with you." Aloha seemed desperate, but he was just using his acting skills.
Mask sighed, defeated. "Fiiiiiiiine. You owe me, though."
"YES! You're the best, Mask~" Aloha put his arm around Mask's shoulder, but he pushed it away.
For a few minutes, both boys were having an actual, nice conversation, even though Mask was still annoyed. But, they were soon interrupted by three random strangers.
"hEy YoU tWo ShOuLd Go OuT!" The three strangers yelled, then jumped in a bush.
Mask and Aloha looked at each other.
"Gotta go bye!" Aloha quickly said and ran away.
"WAIT—" Mask ran a little, then stopped because he was already out of breath. He was now left alone on the sidewalk, confused. Guess I'll walk home alone?
Mask arrived home two minutes later. He immediately went to die on his couch, as he was exhausted from staying up until ten in the morning and getting four hours of sleep.
After taking off his mask, he tried to forget the cents that had just occurred. Still, the thought lingered in his mind.
