First impressions go
a long way. . .
but not longer than
memories of one who you love.
Good memories go
a long way. . .
but not longer than
bad memories made with the one you love.
I have loved
but only one person.
A tease brought her over.
A smile won her heart.
But violence and abuse
sent her packing.
But two months have worn on.
And wisdom now a permanent cognitive tenant, I'm advised to find them. Her, and my unnamed child.
For when good memories go
bad, only forgiveness may set them right.
