As they walked on the path of hard candy, the clicking of their heels, once deafening, became impossible to hear. The music thundered through the night and the party lights cast shadows and brightened what would originally be darkened. Marceline began to worry a little bit, she want bubblegum to have fun and not worry, but they were almost upon the party and it seemed way too chaotic for a beginner. She nly wanted bubblegum to have a fun time. The undead goddess bit her lip, a white fangs pressing on a luscious red lip, as she watched fog swirl around their feet. And all too soon they were at the party. Marceline saw nothing out of the ordinary, but she tried to see it from Bubblegum's point of view and found herself shocked. Maybe this wasn't the best idea, maybe it was horrible. Women, barley dressed, ground on guys, and there were groups of people just sitting there, doing drugs. Supernatural beings screamed with the music, drank, danced and laughed. Mingling with the humans like they belonged, and basically, here they did. Anyone and their brother was invited to these to just let go and have a good time. Music made it really fuckin hard to hear, and everywhere you looked there were boobs. Seriously. Just boobs. Everywhere. Marceline was taken aback by how the drunken rave was so exciting and normal to her when it was probably disgusting and immoral to Bubblegum. The worried vampire turned to face the young princess and found the woman to be looking eager. Shocked, yes, and eager. She looked excited to be here, amidst the chaos, and she looked like she belonged with the excitement glimmering in her violet eyes. Her leather clad hips had already taken to the beat, and her hands tapped on her thighs, the many bracelets banging together too quiet to hear. A smile, not a smirk, a genuine smile curved Marceline's lips slightly as she watched the younger woman take everything in stride. She looked absolutely stunning when she smiled. "As long as we stay together we'll be fine, babe." Marceline had leaned next to Bubblegum's ear and screaming as she took her hand and led her to the chaotic, euphoric, and exciting world before them. Once they were near the middle Marceline let go of Bubblegum's dainty hand and turned to give her a reassuring smile, only to find that a ton of people had forced their way between them.

Bubblegum was overwhelmed to say the least, but it was exciting. She had never been to a party, certainly not one like this. But now she didn't have Marceline to lean on, and that terrified her. She frantically pushed through people and was fighting back tears before a calm hand steadied her shoulder. Bubblegum looked up to meet stunning green eyes, framed with vibrant purple eyeliner. "Hey, I'm Angela, but you can call me Angie. You looked freaked out, need any assistance?" Somehow without yelling, her voice managed to sneak past the thundering beat and swarming conversations.

"I-I can't find my f-frien-nd." Her voice shook with anxiety as it occasionally did. Her violet eyes portrayed fear, yet somehow, still harbored excitement for the new atmosphere around her. Angie smiled and tucked a strand of dark purple hair, shot through with neon green behind her ear. Strangely Bubblegum was comforted by the act, even though she had just come to realize the woman was only wearing a studded leather bra and some lacy black panties.

"It's okay, beautiful, here, take my drink. You seem to need it more than I do." The scantily dressed woman handed Bubblegum an amber liquid in a red, plastic cup. Without considering any consequences Bubblegum took a careless swig and recoiled. For the drink scalded her tongue and burned all the way down her throat, setting her belly ablaze. Despite the initially unsettling feeling, she found that she liked it, so she took another swing before smiling at Angie. Before she knew it they were dancing. The rest of the night was a blur to the younger woman. Drinking or smoking anything passed to her, forgetting aloof her pressing duties at home. A spinning, smoky world, set ablaze with amber and passion. Angie and Bubblegum danced and danced, they changed partners and had drink after drink. Somewhere in her fuzzy memory the inexperienced princess became aware of Marceline's presence, and soon Bubblegum refused to dance with anyone else.

Anyone watching the party would have one hell of a time keeping up with what was going on. But one thing was for sure, Bubblegum and Marceline looked beautiful in each other's arms. Outlined by neon lights, caressed by the shadows, and blurred in the smoke. The spun and laughed and fell into each other but anyone watching couldn't help but smile at the scene. Genuine smiles and laughter so strong and pure it made the stars shine a little brighter. It looked as though they only wanted each other's company, or were too fucking drunk to let go.

EARLY UPDATE! Haha, and it's long too. Hope you enjoyed, I liked writing it. I have a lot of fun imagining a drunk Bubblegum, falling and leaning on Marceline who just smiles and shakes her head. Cute or nah? I think it's an adorable idea. Well, thanks for reading, BAII BAES!!
