Bucky when...he has a nightmare and you calm him down
*** "No! Don't-don't touch me!" Bucky screamed, flinching away from Y/N's desperate touch. Bucky's eyes were wild, his breathing fast and swallow, his whole body trembling in uncontrollable fear.
"I'm not going to hurt you," Y/N said, gently taking Bucky by his metal hand and holding it firmly. Their eyes met. "Listen to me. You're safe and they aren't going to hurt you again. I'm here now. Trust me, I won't let anybody hurt you."
Y/N almost expected Bucky to yank their hand away in panic, but he didn't-instead he relaxed a little, tears forming in his eyes, and let out a breath. "I..."
"It's okay," Y/N said and smiled, pulling Bucky into a hug that he didn't resist. "It's okay. I'm here." For the rest of the night Y/N held Bucky's as they both fell asleep.
