i turned my head to look at her and was baffled. wondering what in narnia she was talking about. "who?"
susan let out a little laugh. "why, prince caspian of course!" she hit me playfully on the arm.
i felt my face turn a deep red and my eyes grew wide. "what- why would you-? of course i don't fancy him! that's ridiculous." i stuttered and looked down at my feet as we walked. i couldn't let her know. i just couldn't.
"oh please." susan started, "you haven't been able to pry your eyes off him until now!"
