The Vampire's Flame

Chapter 30

  Rosella didn't give any mercy. She quickly stabbed her long fingernails into the rebel leader as he coughed up blood. She held him up in the air for everybody to see her power and anger. "You see this!" She commanded as they listened. " Will all be you." She turned to where Calla was just at as the knife was clean and was on the floor and rosella's eyes turned sad for a split second but she jumped on the table. "All of you should forever live with this terrible sin!"
   Cyrus went to the nearest vampire and stabbed him. Then another and another as Rosella still held the rebel leader up through her arm as she banged his head down as he was unconscious and his head started to bleed. She dropped him and killed the vampire near her and before you know it was they were all dead except for the leader. Rosella dragged him from his collar. Cyrus was stained with blood as she picked up the angel's knife with disgust recalling the memory that just happened.
   Seth was just frozen not knowing what to do and didn't dare speak. How life changed so far to Calla being murdered. Dylan wasn't going to like this.
  Cyrus eyes also already turned black as blood tears fell from her cheeks and she looked up at her mate her face broken as she ran to her Seth crying and was so glad that she had him.
   Rosella was just quiet as her tears fell silently but stopped as she walked towards Seth. "We're leaving, " Rosella said. "Let's get out of this dam place." Cyrus and Rosella were still dragging the leader and got on Seth. Seth quickly went outside in front of the building in his dragon form.
   "Seth before you go. Can you set fire to the building? I don't ever want to see it again." Rosella said calmly.
    Cyrus stopped crying as Seth nodded his head and took a deep breath as he blew fire out. Something he hasn't done in a long time as the building started to burn into fiery flames that seemed to hurt Cyrus and Rosella's skin feeling the heat but they didn't care. The fire grew and grew until it was almost fully covered and Seth stopped as the flames continued to grow.
   "Let's go."
  Seth understood as he pushed his wings and they were win the air.

  From the shadows, a witch and vampire were smiling in the background as they witness the whole scene and the two royals and knew Calla died.
   "Our plan worked. Step one complete." Said the vampire.
   "On two-phase two." Said the other witch and disappeared.

  Rosella contacted Dylan to come with Cam to the throne room. As Cyrus contacted their mother and announced they should arrive soon.
   They were in front of the castle as the two princesses got off. "Alright I'm going to the room I don't want the queen to know I left the castle." Seth said.
   "Ok." said Cyrus. She couldn't help but give him a quick peck on the lips as he left.
    Rosella was the first to walk still dragging the body as the rebel leader's body dripped of blood and she held him up to not stain the floor.
    Dylan, Cam, the king, and queen were all there as they went silent and saw Rosella, with the body, and Cyrus walked in as they bowed their head slightly in the throne room.
    Dylan's body felt in pain as his eyes turned black and his eyes were dripping blood as he was on the floor. He was in obvious pain.  He died hard not to scream but couldn't help it. "She's dead." Dylan said slowly.
   "Queen Bella we have successfully accomplished this mission and have killed the rebels and of course here," Rosella said tossing the rebel leader on the floor as he groaned in pain. "Is the rebel leader that not only has been planning to kill you. But allow me to bring you the most unfortunate news to everyone. That Calla is now dead by the angel's sword."
   Cyrus held the sword out for everyone to see as Dylan's heartfelt worse by the news as his cries of pain left his whole body shaking. But he tried to keep his vision cleared as he saw the rebel leaders face unconscious and couldn't help but to growl in frustration at him.
   "Luke!" The king said.
   Luke quickly came in. "Take Dylan to the infirmary now." Luke nodded and was careful to pick up Dylan as he left.
   "So this is the one that has killed my son's flame." The queen looked at him. "Phil." she said as he came to where the royals were his clothes stained with blood. You could tell he was in the middle of torturing someone.
   Rosella who would usually shiver at seeing him since he's the one that does her torture but she didn't shiver her hatred for the rebel made her sick. As Cyrus just lightly shook barely noticeable as he bowed in front of the queen and king.
   "Yes, your highnesses."
    "Torture him for all eternity. Make sure that every time he sees you he screams uncontrollably. Both physically and emotionally I want you to break him." The queen stated firmly her lips a bit curled upward to just picturing his utter and useless cries for help.
   "Yes, your Highness, " He said and picked up the leader as he was unconscious.
   "Make sure he wakes up first before starting." Said Rosella."
   "Yes, princess Rosella." And he went.
    "So what shall I do with this sword." Said, Cyrus.
   "Hand it to me." Queen Bella said. Cyrus went up to to the stairs and gave the knife to the queen making sure to hold it by the handle.
    And Cyrus walked back down.
   "Before this situation, I believed all of you were capable enough to handle it. Seems as though I have to put tighter leashes on you. Especially you Cyrus since your the youngest."
   "But mother we-".
   "Do you dare question your queen?" Queen Bella raised her perfect eyebrow. Just as her black coal hair up I'm a perfect detailed hairstyle and her long red silk dress.
   "Of course not queen." Said Cyrus.
    "We shall order more vampires and change these rules. I feel as though you are all in danger." The king said. "From now you each shall have 2 bodyguards to occupying you." And right after he said that did vampire servants were next to the royals but not the king and queen.
   "With Dylan's condition, we can't afford to lose more of you. We just have to hope he makes it through alive."
    "He will." Said the Queen. Her face hard and being serious.
    "You are all free to get your breakfast and are excused to leave."
   Rosella was right by cams side and held his hand as ther 4 guards followed them. As Rosella and Cam didn't like it already. But Rosella didn't want to leave Cam's side. And they walk to their room.
    Before Cyrus could leave did the queen stop her. "Cyrus."
    "Yes, Mother."
    "We know you left with Seth to help you. Your father told me. Why are you trying to  lie to your dear mother that loves you?" She said. Her face was now soft.
    "Mother, I don't want to lie to you. I just didn't want you to get mad. I would never try to disappoint either you or father." said Cyrus. But her mind couldn't help but wonder why her mother would always mention why she was special. She thought back to her first son how even her mother lied to her.
   The king's eyes widened. "Cyrus how do you know about that?" He said he looked a bit scared but his eyes sharpened.
   Cyrus eyes wided. She didn't want to get Dylan in trouble he was suffering enough but realized her father was already hearing her thoughts and knew it was to late.
   The king was sharing mind link to her queen so she knew exactly what was going on. The queen's eyes stared into Cyrus. And Cyrus wondered how Dylan never got caught.
   But Cyrus thought that maybe this could be the time where she could ask her question again.
   "Mother, Father, I ask you this. Now that you know what I learned about today. Tell me why am I your favorite, when Dylan and Rosella are your blood-related children? Why mother? Why did you save me? I still don't know." The king and queen looked at each other communicating.
   The queen looked at Cyrus. "Alright then. Seems as though your ready. To hear."
   "You're the reincarnation of our first son, Kyrios Snow." said Queen Bella.
