I think me and my sister shall run away. My mama new boyfriend Ricardo takes turns beating us before bed. It's about 2 am. I climb down from my bunk bed in my tiny room:

I shake my sister and she rubs her eye and sits up and whispers.
F: What?
Me: Lets run away.
F: What?! Where we gonna go?!
Me: We gone find somewhere just come on!
F: Lets pack first!
Me: No. Come on.
We put on our shoes and grab our long big coats. It's December 1st. Ricardo doenst even want us here so he's gonna convince my mama we ok. We sneak out the door and began making out way through the cold night.
F: Findi (Fin-Dee) where we gonna go?
Me: Ion know but we gotta get out if there. We sat on a bench in the park and soon fell asleep.
The Next morning
