Walk gradually towards humbling knowledge

With wisdom to steer clear the slippery slope

We pride ourselves while awaiting college

Wanting to stamp and push the envelope

.

Memories fade upon each change of season

Logic thrives in rhyming without reason

Blue eyes quite green to view life as an art

These dreams would never leave this very heart

.

I'm running on faith to make it happen

Live with eyes closed but with minds wide open

Left at the crossroads to reap what I sow

For Jesus loves you more than you will know
