You and Remington lay quietly in a hammock on the balcony, gazing at the stunning view of the California coast in late summer. Gentle golden sun shines down, occasionally filtered by whips of clouds overhead. You rest your head on his toned warm chest as he tangles his tired hands into your messy hair. Rem places a bare foot on the deck below, beginning to gently rock the hammock, calming you to the edge of sleep. Your head turns up to meet his big sleepy eyes, whiskey colored and glowing in the setting sun.
"I love you, y/n, I would be so lost without you," he says, voice cracking barely above a whisper.
"I love you too, Remmy, I don't know what I did to deserve you." You see his face light up as you speak, blushing lightly. He pulls you closer to his chest and holds you tight. You drift off to sleep with the rhythm of his calm breath, dreaming under the seaside sunset.
