Batman choice

"How. How could you possible?" Joe chill asked as he pressed his back against the wall.

"I know because I watched it happened! I know because I am the son of the man you murdered! I am Bruce Wayne!" Bruce announced as he took off his cowl.

"No!" Joe said as he started to attacks Bruce.

Bruce pinned him against the wall. Bloody jaw and all and held him there.

"Daddy!" Danielle shouted at her father.

Bruce froze in his tracks. He still had Chill against the wall, glaring at him.

"Daddy please don't do it." Danielle begged to her father.

"Why shouldn't I?! He killed my parents in cold blood! To repay a debt to his boss! He deserves to die!" Bruce shouted angrily.

"I get that dad, I truely do. He had no right to play God and take away your parents. But that doesn't mean you can kill him either." Danielle said.

Bruce growled angrily. He stilled glowered at Chill.

"Daddy please just let him go. How do you honor your parents if you kill him? Dad just put him down and walk away. Think about your parents." She explained to him.

"I'm doing this for them." Bruce insisted.

"How? By killing him. You killing won't bring them back. You of all people should know that. I promise you daddy he will go to jail but he has to be alive. Ok. Please daddy." Danielle begs.

Bruce still doesn't move. He starts to squeeze his hand, slowly choking him.

"Daddy. You will be killing a dieing man." Danielle tries one last time to stop her dad.

"What?!" He ask in shock.

"He has cancer dad. It's inoperable. He will die soon. Let him live what every amount of days left in prison." Danielle reasons with him.

Bruce stares at him angril. He wants to kill him, he wants him to suffer. But he doesn't have a choice. He punches the wall next to Chill's head and let him go.

"Let's go." Bruce said as he pulled his cowl up and walked away.

As they walked away, Joe Chill picks up his gun. Before he fires, Danielle throws a birdarang at his wrist; knocking the gun out of his hand. Batman looked surprised at what happened.

"Now we can go." She said as she ran outside.
Batman chuckled lightly as he followed her out the door.

The police showed up 5 minutes later and arrested Joe Chill for selling illegal weapons, and for the murder of Martha and Thomas Wayne. Danielle saw this on tv and ran downstairs to where her dad was. She turned on the tv and watched Bruce's expression change. He smiled lightly as a single tear roll down his face. She was pulled into his lap as he quietly sobbed as he thanked her. Robin not only saved Joe Chill, she saved Batman's and Bruce Wayne's lives as well.
