How it Began

Hannah's POV

While I was home one day after school was rough, I decided to text some friends and ask to go to the mall and see if they'd tag along.

They all said yeah.

So my friend, Cassie, had already picked up Kayla and Michelle and now she's here to get me.

We make our way to the mall.

We finally get there and decide we'd hit the pretzel place just for something to hold us over until later.

After we left the pretzel place, I noticed some guy had been following us. No idea who is was but I tried to ignore it.

Eventually I could ignore anymore. I turn around and say

"Can I help you? Like do you need something or"

"No sorry, you just have caught my eye" he mutters.

I say "well maybe you could say something instead of following us"

He apologizes and makes his way some where else.

My friend, Kayla, kept saying "Hannah, I think you should try to find him"

No matter how many times I said no, she still insisted.

We, accidentally, ran into him again.

Now that I get a good look at him, he's so cute. The was his messy blondish hair lays over that bandana. The way his smile is. He's adorable.

"Stare much" he says while laughing.

"Sorry" I say, embarrassed.

"No don't worry" he says.

As I start to walk away, I feel a hand touch my shoulder.

I turn around.

"I just wanted to say hi, I'm Ashton. What's your name?"

"Hannah" I say.

"Well, Hannah, I'm sorry for following you earlier it's just you're so"

I say it's fine and not to worry about it before he could finish because if he would've complimented me i would have blushed really bad. I'm a bad blusher.

"Hannah, can I give you something?" He says after.

I say sure.

He gives me a folded gum wrapper.

"Don't open it until you're alone!" He shouts.

"Ok?" I say questioning.

I put it in my pocket.

"Well, Hannah, I'd say I better get going before I'm late for soundcheck" he says.

"Wait-"
