Thomas walked quietly past the others while they were sleeping, he walked out of the building and over to where the Rovers was parked.
"Where do you think you're going then" a voice said.
Thomas looked straight ahead, and in front of him, stood a figure, the figure turned on a lamp, that was standing on a table, it was Newt.
Thomas sighed "Newt..." he said and Newt walked over to him "Don't be a twat about it. We are already in" he said and took Thomas's bag "We?" Thomas asked confused and Newt whistled and not even two seconds later Thomas heard someone whistled back in respons from the left causing him to look to the left and saw Sara walking towards him "Hello Tom. Ready to go?" she asked "Come on" Newt said and walked over to the Rover, Sara walked over and stood on Newt's left side.
"No, no, not this time" Thomas said and walked over to Newt.
"Look, even if we find Minho, there's no guarantee we make it back from this" Thomas said and Newt looked at him "Well, you'll need all the help you can get then, won't you?" he said and opened the front door of the Rover and on the frontside sat Mike. Thomas looked at his friends, "Well, we started this together. May as well end it that way too" Newt said.
Thomas looked at them, he was not sure "Everything has an end Tom, when you start something, you also have to finished it, and since we started the maze together, we are also going to finish it together. Every maze has an end. And besides, we can't let you have all the fun part" Sara said and Thomas nodded "Okay" he said looking at them.

"Let's go get him back" he finished, "Now let's finish this maze together" Sara said and they smiled. Sara, Newt, and Thomas went into the Rover and they drove off.
Time skip...
They drover past the mounting, Thomas was sitting in the front sit with Mike while Sara and Newt sad on the back seat, Sara took Newt's hand, he looked at her and smiled.
They drove past a sign 'MANDATORY, INFECTION CHECK, 2 MILES AHEAD' stood on the sign.

They drove over to some small buildings and were holding in front of a tunnel. Sara and her friends got out of the Rover and stood in front of the tunnel.
Sara stood on Thomas right side while Newt stood between Mike and Thomas.
Sara looked at Thomas "You want us to go in there?" she asked, Thomas had taking the map with him "I don't wanna come across as too negative, but if I was a Crank, that's exactly where I would be" Newt said. Sara looked at Thomas who was looking at the map "Sara you have been here before, do you know another way in?" Thomas asked. "I can't remember so much, but I don't think so" she said "Then I don't think we have much of a choice" Thomas said and looked up at the tunnel, Newt looked at the tunnel, he then looked at Thomas "All right. I get shotgun" he said and walked back to the Rover.

Sara smiled, Mike and Thomas looked at each other and smiled.
The friends got in the Rover and they drove into the tunnel. The tunnel was dark so Mike turned on the headlights on the Rover while Sara and the others turned on their flashlight "Well, here we go" Mike said "Yeah, just take it nice and slow" Newt said. Sara saw that there were broken cars, next to them.
Suddenly they saw a Crank standing in front of them "Whoa, Whoa, Whoa!" Mike said and stopped the Rove before he looked at Thomas "It's okay. It's just one, so take it slow, go around him. We'll be fine" Thomas said, "Take is slow, take it slow" Mike said to himself and Newt rolled up his window.
Suddenly Crank bang on Thomas causing him to let out a gasp.
The Crank was a woman "Please, please, help me" said the woman.
Suddenly there was another Crank next to Sara's window "Okay, Mike, we gotta go" Sara said. "You need to go right now!" Thomas said as the Rover got surrounded by Cranks, that were trying to get in "JUST DIVE, MIKE" Thomas yelled "Hold on!" Mike said.
They drive straight ahead, one of the Crank was on the Rover's cooling helmet "Come on, Mike, shake him off!" Sara said. "I am trying" Mike said. The Crank crawled over to the side of the Rover and was banging on Mike's window. "Hang on" Mike said and got the Crank off by cutting it off with the help of a sign.
But suddenly "Mike watch out" Thomas yelled but it was too late and the Rover drove into a box before it roll over and landed on the upside down.
They all cough. "Everyone okay?" Thomas asked.
Thomas destroyed a window with his foot and crawled out of the Rover, he then stretched his arm into the Rover grabbed Sara's arm before pulling her out.
She cough "You okay?" Thomas asked and Sara nodded "I am fine" she said "Thomas, the door!" Newt said and try to get out by banging his foot on the door. Thomas and Sara try to get the door opened, but it was stuck.
"Oh, shit, all right" Thomas said and walked over to the over side of the car.
Newt opened the door and was out. "Newt, you okay?" Thomas asked "Yeah, I think so" Newt said holding his arm, he then walked over to Sara "Love, you okay?" he asked and Sara nodded "Yeah, I am fine" she said "Mike, you okay?" Thomas asked.
Suddenly they heard a Crank screaming. They looked towards the sound and they saw one coming running towards them. Newt put his hand on his gun holster. He looked down, but they were no gun "Oh, shit" Newt said.
"Mike, I think we gotta move, now" Thomas said "Wait, a minute" Mike said and crawled back into the Rover as the Crank came closer and closer "Come on, what are you doing? We gotta move! Come on!" Thomas said. "Hold on" Mike said.
The Crank came closer and closer, Sara was ready with her machete, Mike got out of the Rover and shot the Crank with a shotgun "Nice shot, Mike" Sara said "Thanks" Mike said.
Suddenly they heard growling and screeching, there came more Cranks running towards them "Okay. We gotta go" Sara said, the friends turned around and start running.
Time skip...
But then they stopped and in front of them stood five Cranks. Since Mike was the only one with a gun he changed his way to shoot, first he shot behind them, then he shot in front of them "I'm out" Mike said "Then we have to do it the hard way" Sara said and drew her machete.
A Crank came running towards them, but Sara got it with her machete. "That was one, eight more to go" she said and was ready to attack "You can't, there are too many" Newt said and Sara looked around "Damn it" she said. Thomas looked on the Cranks "Shit" he said when they realized that they were trapped
